Review: Beauty Gua Sha (Scraping Therapy) Facial

Hello loves! ❤ Just right before Aidilfitri, I welcomed two beautiful and super friendly girls, Fiona and Yee Mun to my home to introduce me to a cool and painless facial treatment that can be done at the comfort of our own home. Honestly, when I first got the offer, I never thought that it was going to be a facial. I thought like a massage or something HAHA. Because of the severe acne I'm facing at the moment, the treatment's not really advisable for me to do so my sister had to honour of trying out the treatment!

But first, what is Beauty Gua Sha or Scraping Therapy Facial? Gua Sha is a traditional treatment that has been used for thousands of years. "Gua" means scrape and "Sha" means the sandy looking spots which might develops after Gua Sha. It can be in red, purple, black or brown colour. Not everyone will develops "Sha". If you develop "Sha", it might indicate some part of your body is not in a healthy state. Sounds scary right? But its truly not! This treatment is done by using a Buffalo Board (HAHA I know right, how is it not scary?) but its not really a buffalo lah or shaped like a buffalo. I will show you guys the picture later but its shaped like a cute little fish. So the board is used to scrape our face to enhance our complexion and skin radiance and also energizes our internal organs and straightens immunity.

This painless Scraping Therapy requires these products for maximum results and satisfaction. The sequence starts from top left to
bottom right then lastly, the Moisture Intense Masque which is not in the picture but you can see it in the picture above.

Yup, just had to makeover my sister and gave her a cute (lah sangat :p) little ancient korean hair
style with her hair pushed back. Does her hair look sexy pushed back (Mean Girls reference) HAHA.
After all the cleansing and scrub, the Pore Cleansing Masque was placed on my sister.

Next style, a little fringe on the side. This time just let the hair loose with a little neck injury HAHAHA.
Comel right? :p After a while of leaving the masque on, its time to remove it and proceed with
the next steps before applying the Youth Xtend all over the face before starting the Scraping Therapy.

Up next, severe neck injury with a classic bangs HAHAHA I'm so good at this :p And then, the Scraping Therapy begun!
That black thing is the Buffalo Board which is used to scrape the face like I mentioned before. Its very safe
and painless. Its more like a face massage and that's why its not really advisable for those with severe acne to do this.

So what's the benefits of doing this treatment? This treatment inncreases cell turnover rates, detoxification, improves blood
circulation and skin texture, eliminates puffiness due to water retention, removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother and
more radiant, reduce pore size, improves elasticity of skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, prevents blackheads and whiteheads,
lighten freckles and dark spots, lifting and firming, reduce dark eye circles and eye puffiness.

Tadaaa, the left one is the before and the right one is the after. Instant brightness am I right?

Results:
We had a family dinner/iftar that night right after the facial and my sister's face was glowing. It lifted up her face making it looked brighter and she said it felt softer and smoother too. She often had facial at Taipan, Subang and after the Scraping Therapy she wanted to just stick with the Scraping Therapy. Even after 2-3 days her face still looked nice. I'm just really amazed with the instant brightness and smoothness!

painless and safe Scraping Therapy yourself! You will not regret it ;)
