Review: Ardell Demi & Demi Wispies Lashes

Salam everyone!
Fuyo, something I have never blogged about before. Tak pernah bayang myself blogging about lashes but I have a few lashes that I wanted to share both super cheap and affordable hehe. The Ardell ones are considered as affordable. So yang super cheap ones kena tunggu :p I have two Ardell lashes that I'm loving; Demi & Demi Wispies.

One thing you need to know about me is that I am all about that natural look. And my make-ups are all pretty basics and simple for everyday wear. But you can clearly see that the 101 Demi is no natural falsies HAHA Ok, I bought these lashes in particular was because I wanted to dare myself in wearing something dark, bold, daring or rebel for a change. Spice up my life a bit by changing my makeup looks everyday.

So with that in mind, I opted for these glamorous lashes. It is perfect for a glamorous night out or any special occasions. Plus, it shows great on the camera. And it really darkens up my eyes and overall look.

Eh where did the lashes go? HAHA sorry, kita dah pakai dah :p Now this lash OMG BAPAK SUSAH NAK DAPAT! It was sold out every where! But I found them (I had two but the other one dah terrosakkan hmmm) at this really far away Boots yang tersorok from all the crowds. Found the pharmacy by accident as I was exploring the town and thank goodness they had some in stock! hehe.

This one is pretty much everyone's favourite. So flattering, and it gives probably the most natural look. Pakai macam rasa tak pakai je. So easy to put on and so comfortable. And all the Ardell lashes are reusable for numerous of times depending on how you take care of it.

This one is the Demi Lashes. So flattering kan?! And it goes well with every look! hehe love it!
I bought these in the UK but you can get them at selected Sephora across the nation hehe

Sonic Face Cleansing, Skin Peel and LED Phototherapy @ Premier Clinic

Salam everyone!
Last two weeks I visited Premier Clinic regarding my skin concerns. As many of you know, I am suffering from a continuous acne problem (pepandai je) since I was 16 mainly caused by my lifestyle choices. I mean seriously Izzah, grow up please! You are 21 (ehem), it is time to change! Change your lifestyle, change your skin and most importantly, change your appearances! So anyway, because of my acne problem, I sought professional help of Dr. Aarthi Maria, an experienced aesthetic practitioner who also trains and teacher new aesthetic doctors to take care of my problematic skin. There is no wrong in wanting good skin, right?

I went to the branch in TTDI, KL. The parking was a bit hard to find but luckily, the clinic is surrounded by delicious restaurants so if you come with a friend, your friend could enjoy delicious meals or chill in the their Premier Lounge. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They even offered to take my pictures & videos for me. Hehe blogger memang forever perlukan bantuan orang untuk ambilkan our pictures hehehe.

Seen here is me filling Dr Aarthi up with my skin and treatment histories. Then, she suggested a couple of treatments that I could choose to recover my skin to its proper condition and I chose to undergo Skin Peel treatment. She also suggested slimming treatments that I could choose but my main priority now is getting my skin fixed. She also threw in complimentary Sonic Face Cleansing to remove my makeup and LED Phototheraphy treaments to soothe my skin after the peel so it won't feel as dry or damaged.

My first treatment was the Sonic Face Cleansing. They first removed my makeup and exfoliate my skin using the first machine you see there. It kind of has a "nilu" feel and sound to it, so they covered my ears to ensure I am able to relax and won't be bothered by the sound. Then, they cleansed my face using the second machine. This is to ensure the products absorb deeply into the pores. I love that it gave a cold feeling to the skin hehe always loved this treatment.

After that, Dr Aarthi performed the Chemical Peel treatment on me. She placed two types of acid on my skin (depending on your skin) such as Trichroloacetic Acid (TCA). She placed a very thin layer section by section. The mini fan is to cool down the face because the acid may cause you to feel tingle or slight burning. It is bearable. Nothing major, don't worry. Plus, I was in good hands of Dr Aarthi! hehe. This treatment is to gently remove the top layer of my skin so the scars nanti akan lessen.

And lastly, I underwent the LED Phototheraphy treatment for a good 20 minutes. Because of the peel, my skin was dry and red all over. This treatment is to soothe and calm my skin as well as making it soft and smooth. And to complete the whole treatment, they put sunblock and moisturizer on my face hehe thank you!

How is my skin so far? I am seriously amazed of how amazing my skin looked even after just one session. You can seriously see the difference on the spot. Even my boyfriend complimented how smooth and clean my skin was that night. And my acne has lessen! But of course, to achieve clear skin, I have to undergo the full cycle. And I cannot wait to undergo these treatments again and get rid of my scars and acne. I long for that perfect blank canvas face. Baru no shame to walk around with no makeup hehe.

You can watch the full treatment video here or go to their official facebook page (here)!

Thank you Dr. Aarthi and Premier Clinic for having me and for performing these treatments to me; in the most
relaxing and gentle way possible. If you guys have any skin concerns, do not hesitate to contact them!

Review: Lush Mask of Magnaminty

Salam everyone!
Yay to me for coming back to the blogging arena, woots! It was not an easy decision but I do miss it. A lot. And since I am now in a better place and mood, I thought why not express it by blogging agian :D So for my comeback, eceh! I would like to introduce to you my current favourite mask, Mask of Magnaminty from Lush

Mask Of Magnaminty; Face and Body Mask

According to the website, it is "A multi-purpose mask with a mixture of gentle yet effective ingredients to clean, calm and clear the skin. Easily smoothed over the skin, this mask is made with peppermint oil to stimulate, marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin; evening primrose seeds and aduki beans to gently exfoliate as you remove it. You can use this mask anywhere."

As you know, Lush is famous for using au natural ingredients and the products are freshly made by the workers. And because of that, you will only get to use the products over a certain period of time only. Meaning you will have to use them fast and to me, that is the only downfall as I am a hoarder and I cannot hoard this D:

The texture of the mask is like a paste or something that you would dip your chips into. It has a strong divine minty vanilla + a little nutty smell to it but it is not overpowering but rather calming. Definitely something that you would picture yourself putting cucumber on your eyes with.

This sucker is made out of 14 ingredients; Bentonite Gel, Kaolin, Honey, Talc, Organic Ground Aduki Beans, Glycerine, Evening Primrose Seeds, Peppermint Oil, African Marigold Oil, Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, Limonene, Perfume, Chlorophyllin and Methylparaben.

I love that it makes me feel uber refresh and awake because of the cooling-minty sensation. It seems as though my troubles are just a tiny piece of garbage as it takes me into a different world with its calming, soothing and relaxing feel. Though it tingles, it does not irritate my sensitive skin and I love that I can use it on top of my rashes (when/if I have any at the time). Over time, I do notice that my spots are brightens and it helps to soothe my acne as well. It is moisturizing and helps with the redness too! Bottom line, an amazing product! My mask baru je expired and I need to get myself a new one! Baru pakai setengah :(

Anyway, I bought it in UK so I do not how much it would cost here depending on the seller you choose I guess. For me, I guess, later nak search one from Carousell je. Or you girls ada any seller that you would recommend? Thanks ❤

Moving forward

Salam everyone!
I am relieved that the year 2015 is finally coming to an end. So many bitter, horrible, devastating, torn, unforgettable, upsetting, unacceptable (and the list goes on and on) things happened to me this year that I wish to forget. Possibly forever, insyaAllah. Amin. I  do not wish to share as it is heartbreaking and I am still healing but I am willing to share all the memorable things happened along 2015 instead.

And also, that was pretty much the whole reason I stopped blogging because blogging makes me happy. Sharing beauty products with people make me happy. And I cannot blog when I am unhappy.

1) Practicum
Oh how I loved those moments and if I had the chance to go back, I would. Mostly because I wanted to correct all the spelling errors that I taught you people. Especially the made up spelling that I gave because I was nervous and could not remember how to spell it and my internet was over HAHAHAHA SO SORRY EPSILON! D: But unfortunately, my teaching career started and ended there. I am not going to be a teacher.

2) Australia
Seriously, I have nothing awful to say about it as it is the most beautiful and calming country I have ever been to (aside from Madina & Makkah). No filter is ever needed there, I swear! The scenery there was breathtaking. My aunt took us to a lot of historical ocean sides and it was just what I needed from the stressful work of practicum. Loved every moment and every scenery ugh so calming I want to escape there again!

Oh and did I tell you that I spent all my money on make-ups there? #noragrets

3) United Kingdom
Spent my entire Aidilfitri there. I think the last time I spent Aidilfitri abroad was back in either 2005, 2006 or 2007 in Makati, Philippines. A month in UK was actually my treat or reward for finishing degree. It was lovely at first but I could not enjoy it toward the end. The trip was when my whole life turned around and the Izzah who went to UK was not the same Izzah who came back. (notice my blog stopped while I was there?) But I do not want to get into that. Let's focus on the lovely moments! I stayed in Manchester for a month with my sister. I stayed in London for a few days before that. I went to Liverpool, Edinburgh, Lake District and a few more I could not remember. But for now, I got my mind locked on Manchester cause I missed the damn place. The house. The bus. The Starbucks. Boots, Superdrug, Space.Nk, Debenhams, Primark, Lobster and more! Gosh! All the luxury make-ups man. Cannot move on!

4) Graduation
The moment yang di tunggu finally arrived and I thank God, my parents, my friends and my lecturers for helping me get through. I finally got my degree, woot! And honestly, I do not know what's up but I have yet to feel the "distant" or the "over" feeling yet like I still feel like I am in college and will be seeing my friends next semester. Haha pehal entah. Cause my friends all live far away from me and belum rasa kehilangan lagi so weird, right?

And thats pretty much the major highlights of my 2015.

I am going to start working soon, in an office and I hope, I really hope that my life would be much different and far better next year than this year. It would be a cliche if I say that I wanna start fresh next year but really, I do wanna start fresh and build a whole different life and create a far better and well deserved happy ending with my loved ones.

Wish me luck xx
