Review: Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Square Refill

Hello loves! ❤ Remember my Inglot Warehouse Sale Haul (click here)? Well its about time for me to review some of it. To be honest, last week was my first time ever trying and using this square eye shadow refills from Inglot and I'm loving the combination! Well actually, four combinations. Minus the bottom pink, I haven't tried it yet. But the rest, such a perfect combination and the shadows are really great too!

Sorry for the first picture, the colour's a bit off but the swatches are the exact one. And also, the first one is my least favourite one. I haven't found the right eye look to use it with yet. But still all the colours are gorgeous! Look at Pearl 606 and Pearl 609! Isn't it the prettiest? I love the dimension (or maybe illusion?) that sometimes it looks like a one colour, then the other colour and then a combination of both. You get what I'm saying? Like its Copper but then it looks like a Maroon colour then a little bit of both. So pretty!

Likes: Creamy, pigmented and high quality, easily blendable and doesn't cost that much and has a great selection of colours. I mean have you been to Inglot? Its like heaven there!

Dislike: Only that the matte one's a bit chalky.

Overall: Totally worth the money and I highly recommend! Though I bought it during the sale but the actual price is cheaper than some of the single shadows at your local pharmacies. The quality and colour pay off is there and the colours are gorgeous!

Price: RM30 | 2.7g for each refills @ All Inglot stores.
p/s: Inglot is having a 30% off their single shadows @ Sunway Pyramid! Hurry!

Review: Maybelline Lip Polish By Color Sensational

Hello loves! ❤ Am pretty sure everyone is very familiar with Maybelline Lip Polish By Color Sensational am I right? This is my current favourite lip product and I'm just dying to get more. I just want to collect them all! HAHA! I bought another one though after I took these pictures hihi I'm just addicted! Well, actually, I'm addicted to lip products now. ALL LIP PRODUCTS. I'm currently in a phase when I'm super addicted with them. And I'm thinking when I'm done, I'm going to switch back to brushes or perhaps single eye shadows by M.A.C. *berangan japs*

About Maybelline Lip Polish:
Maybelline Lip Polish is a trio (3 in 1) of concentrates; Potent colour extract (Pure saturated color pigments that provide deep intense color like a lipstick), Concentrated Liquid Balm (Moisturizing Liquid Conditioning Balm gets the lips ready for Intensely Rich color. Gives a soft Cushiony feel & care to the lips) and Glossy Shine Serum (Built-in glossy top-coat, that makes lips look fuller & more luscious). So basically its a lipstick, lip balm and lip gloss all in one! Isn't that the dream? And the specially designed leaf-shaped applicator makes the application super quick and precise.

This is the very first one that I bought and I  tried it on the first thing I got home HAHA! Its so pigmented, so lipstick-like, non sticky and its just a beautiful colour! I love wearing it alone rather than on top of a red lipstick. Too bold and high maintenance if you ask me.

I love this colour, very dark and vampy-like but the only thing I don't really like about it is that the application's not that smooth. I mean it glides on smoothly but the colour wasn't distributed evenly. Had to go in a couple of times.

This colour is perfect for those who never tried orange lip colour before but always wanted to. Just like me hihi. I always thought that its not a perfect colour for me but once I tried this on, I fell in love. Its a perfect shade of orange for a newbie like me. Though in the package it may seem a little bright but it will look sheer once you apply it. But of course you can always build it up ;)

Glam 1 is perfect for those who wants to try nudes. Its a beautiful soft light pink colour that you can try and play with. But the only thing I don't like about this colour is that the glitters in it is too overpowering that it makes my lips look like it has clumps or that super annoying dead skin layer(s) on your lips that's making me super uncomfortable.

Likes: Absolutely love Pop 6 and Glam 3! I don't have any problems with it, loving the formula, it glides on smoothly, pigmented and provides super lovely colour with just one swipe, moisturizing, its not that sticky like most lip glosses (also I love the idea of the 3 in 1 thing, genius!), has a great selection of colours (10 all together) and the packaging is so cute! The scent is bearable but it does smell like a lip/eye pencil lol. Can wear it on its own or over a lipstick. The longevity of it is not that great but last longer than most lip glosses for sure.

Dislikes: Although I also love Glam 6 (the colour is gorgeous!) and Glam 1, I'm just not a fan of the texture. Idk, maybe its just mine but the colour pay off is still amazing, it just that it doesn't come off as smoothly as the others, I see some patches and for Glam 1, the "glitteriness" is bothering me. Too much and it builds up on my lips making it looks like I have some dead skin cells everywhere, ew.

Overall: Despite all, its still an amazing product and I would totally collect more! The colours are beautiful and pigmented ugh I just want them all right now!!!!

Price: 32.90 @ All pharmacies & SaSa nationwide.

NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette: Yah Or Nah?

Hello loves!  Am pretty sure all of you are quite excited for this upcoming gorgeous palette by NARS which is their NARSissist Eye Shadow Palette that is going to hit our city in April. Word on the street is that it might just beat the (sort of) newly launched Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette. Well for starters, this palette has three shadows more (15 shades all together) than all of the Naked Palettes and it is sort of a combination of all three palettes too if you really look at it.

But I'm not going to lie, this palette IS gorgeous! The colours are beautiful and I'm starting to love the first colour on the first row of your left side. It looks like a gorgeous shimmery light pink/champagne colour ugh I just want to lick it! LOL. But mind you that I don't have this palette as it has not reached Malaysia yet. All the pictures and swatches are from other people which I will link it all below! ^_^

Again, this palette consists of 15 shadows of their existing both duo and single shadows. Michelle from BubblyMichelle labelled the L and R to show the left and right of NARS existing duo shadows.

Now there are so many mixed reviews about this palette. Some said Yah and some said Nah. But a lot of people and beauty gurus are returning this palette back to the store. For RM260++ ($79), the quality and pigmentation of the shadows didn't live up to their expectations. Some even said that Wet N Wild has better quality than some of these shadows. I mean it is NARS so obviously you got to put your highest expectations on it and you are paying a lot for it. Now let's compare it with the Naked Palettes:

The NARSissist swatches are from lcmakeupblog and the Naked Palettes swatches are from frmheadtotoe. Sorry if it is wrong for me to compare it like this but I just want to let you guys get a clearer picture of the differences in terms of pigmentations/colour pay offs between the two brands.

For the price that you are paying for NARSissist, I would say that the Naked Palettes have greater pigmentations for much less cost, RM188 ($52). But don't get me wrong, not all shades are bad in the NARSissist. They said that the original colours in their singles and duos are much much better, pigmented and totally live up to the "NARS" name, it is just that the shadows particularly in this palette is a bit disappointing. But it is still a lovely colour nonetheless and some said that if you prime your eyes before, then you will love this palette!

Here are some videos that you can relate. They did comparison of the singles and duos and compare the colour pay offs. Some of them like it and some of them dislike it. And to tell the truth, I'm really confused right now! HAHAHA

I have two months to decide whether I'm getting this or not. I mean, come on it is NARS and it is cheaper than buying all the duos and singles in this palette. And the colours are gorgeous! There are always a pros and cons of every products from every brands and there are always going to be those who loved it and those who hated it. I mean that is the nature of it. I'm not siding on any brands, I love both brands and NARS blushes are the best! But I think (because I know myself) that I would see myself buying it anyways despite the hate reviews as again, it is NARS and as my dad always says, "better regret buying it than regret not buying it" so.

What do you guys think? Will you still be in line waiting to get your hands on it this April or nahhhhh?
Let me know! Maybe just maybe, we could wait in line together :p
p/s: Only 200 pieces will be sold this April!

Review: Fairy Blossom - Enhance and Embrace Your Feminine Beauty

Hello loves!  Have you ever heard of Fairy Beauty before? It's a collagen drink that enhances your inner beauty. Fairy Beauty came out with two collagen drinks: Fairy Whitez (focuses more on your face area and lightening up your skin) and Fairy Blossom (focuses more on breast enlargement and your inner health). I was so fortunate and ecstatic that I was given a chance to try the Fairy Blossom for one whole month all thanks to HiShop Malaysia! I have the Fairy Whitez with me which I bought using my own money and I will do a review on it too! Fairy Beauty claims that we'll be able to see amazing results in just 4 weeks after consuming their collagen drinks. So, lets see if my breast dah enlarge! Hehehe.

The packaging is really nice, simple and informative. They put all the ingredients, instructions, precautions, expiration
date, etc in a very eye catching way. I think its so convenient to put all those things at the box itself rather than
on a piece of paper as I usually throw all those stuffs away just after I read them for the first time.

Every boxes contains 10 bottles worth 22 Mils each. And every bottles are made with Mulberry and Lingonberry (6000mg),
Apple Stem Cells (1500mg), Wild Yam (750mg), Lobata (1250mg), Mirifica (1250mg), Soy Isoflavone (500mg). All natural!

First of all, just look at the bottles!!! So cute kan? Gerrramms! So, by drinking Fairy Blossom, it will relieves your
painful period pain, strengthen your muscle and bone, gives you energy, increases your sexual desire, firms and
lifts your sagging breasts, heighten the senses, elevate mood and enhances the quality of your sleep, balances
your hormone and replenish vitamin and mineral, and quicker full body arousal.

The bottles are kiutttt and small like that. Easy to carry around. You can drink it 1-2 bottles daily but I only drink once a day.
It comes with 10 strays and an opener. You have to shake it first for about 5 seconds before you remove the cap from the bottle.
Then, poke a hole using the opener, insert your straw and drink up! The taste of it is a little bit concentrated and sour to
my liking but after awhile, I kind of got used it. See photos below for more in-depth info! :D

Result:
  • My breasts are a little bit firmer but enlargement wise, zero.
  • I usually have super crazy painful period pain but this time around, it was quite bearable. Thumbs up!
  • I often sleep very late at night but even after consuming this product, I still find myself sleeping very late at night but earlier if you know what I mean. Hm, do you?
  • It made me very energetic! I went Jungle Trekking last weekend and the total of climbing and going down the mountains took me 3 hours of nonstop walking and climbing. What surprised me was, I didn't feel THAT tired at all. Usually I'll be dead by the first hour but lasting through the whole 3 hours without whining, crawling, sweating like crazy, and without my hands around my waist was really a great achievement for me. But I was crazy tired after 6 hours HAHA! The drink made me energetic and strong!
  • I only had 2-3 breakouts during this whole one month!

Overall:
Totally digging this collagen drink! They are really not kidding when they say you can see improvements in just 4 weeks. They drinks are yummy (now that I got used to it), easy to carry and everything is just straight forward. There's no side effect and I would totally recommend this product to all you ladies wanna enhance their inner beauty and health!
*Dislamer: This products were sent to me for reviewing purpose but all opinions are my own and 100% honest.

Price: RM89.00 (buy it here)
But, they're currently running a promo of buying 2 boxes and get 4 free bottles @ RM178.00!

January 2014 Favourites!

Hello loves! ❤ I feel like I haven't blog in awhile and I miss you guys! I just don't know where my head is these days. I feel like I'm everywhere. Bersepah you know. Cannot think straight :s But thank god now I can and I can finally post my first ever monthly favourites entry, wee! I want to make a video about it but I just cannot find the time soooo entry it is! Hehe. Above photo is the overview photo of my favourites for this month!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
Sorry for not keeping my promise of reviewing this palette last month. Will do it soon! Hehe. Anyway, I've been using this palette religiously ever since my special someone bought it for me. People's been saying that they'll still pick Naked 1 over Naked 3 but for me, its got to be Naked 3, hands down. The colours are super gorgeous I mean look at it, just... LOOK. AT. IT!

NARS Bronzing Laguna
This is the first high end bronzer that I've hit pan on. I really love this bronzer as you could probably tell haha. Its the perfect matte brown colour for my skin. Doesn't make me look muddy.

Nano White CC Infinity in Light Beige
Got it in my November Bag Of Love (here). Never tried it or heard of it before but I've been using it mostly everyday ever since I got it. It gives the perfect medium coverage and it balances out my skin tone and neutralizes my redness.

YADAH Lip Tint Balm in 03 Sugar Pink
The best lip balm ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Mostly because its similar to EM Michelle Phan Pillow Plush hehehe. I love using it to prep my lips before doing my makeup as it gives my lips a really nice colour or for that Korean Lip Tint effect.

Michael Todd True Organics Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub
I'm very scrupulous when it comes to facial scrub as my skin's really sensitive. I've been using St. Ives Apricot Gentle Scrub for as long as I can remember but after I discovered this, I instantly fell in love with it. Its super gentle than the St. Ives and it has all the good ingredients for sensitive skin and acne prone skin!

SimplySiti Dermagic Beauty Moisturizer
This was my holy grail moisturizer last year and I've made a review about it (here). Can't remember why I stopped using it but I was cleaning my makeup drawer till I noticed this moisturizer. Used it and fell in love with it again.

MURAD Clarifying Cleanser for Acne Prone.
O.M.G this is the best "Wake the heck up!" cleanser I've ever tried! It seriously just opens my eyes and soul every morning when I use it. It has a mint ingredient in it so you will feel a cooling sensation and you will feel fresh instantly!

That's all my favourites for this month. Will try and make a review for some of it soon! xx
So whats your favourites for this month?
