Review: Deoproce Magic BB cream SPF45PA++

Hello loves! ❤ About a month ago I was lucky enough to win a giveaway hosted by Nafura on Instagram. I love following Malaysian MUA on Instagram and one of my favourite natural ('cause a lot of Malaysian MUA loves to do really thick makeup and I'm not really a fan) MUAs use this on some of her clients and also during her makeup class so I was pretty excited to have won this. I never heard of this brand before nor have I seen this product anywhere before and the excitement doubled since I love trying out new makeup brands that I have never heard of :D

Anyway, I really love the fact that the person who sent me this took the time to wrap it with that pretty wrapper (LOL Idk the name of it, sorry!) and tie it up with a ribbon! The product already came with a box and most seller just send it just like that instead of wrapping it or whatsoever so it was a really nice gesture I must say :)

Deoproce Magic BB Cream with SPF45 PA++ is a 4 in 1 goodness consist of cream sunscreen, recovery cream, makeup base and foundation. It is high with nutrition and moisture keeping natural moisture and oil balance of the skin. It gives protection from both UVA and UVB with SPF45 PA++. It contains Hydrolyzed Collagen which effective for moisturizing and elasticity that keeps skin soft, supple and smooth all day long. It comes in 2 shades; No. 21 Natural Beige (which is the one that I got) and No. 23 Sand Beige. The texture of it is pretty thick but it does not feel heavy on the skin. It has a light - medium coverage. The smell is quite pleasant like a lotion gitu. Its free of 10 things; Paraben, Talc, Alcohol, TEA, DEA, MEA, Synthetic Colorants, Dioxane, Phthalates and Formaldehyde.

Likes: It doesn't feel heavy on the skin despite its thick consistency. It doesn't look or feel cakey at all which is a plus! Provide good coverage (light-medium) and evens out my skin tone but I find that it does not cover 100% of my redness and imperfections so you need a concealer/corrector for that. It will last all day if you're not sweating LOL but if you have oily skin, you do need to touch up throughout the day. It does not cling on dry patches or accentuate it if you have dry skin. And its more on the satin finish.

Dislikes: It creases so badly under my eyes. Tried putting a liquid concealer underneath but it still creased :( It only comes in two shades and a tad bit expensive.

Overall: I'm really enjoying this BB Cream. It provides good coverage despite the fact that you do need to use concealer to cover up your imperfections as it is a BB Cream. You can build it up and yet, it does not feel heavy or look cakey at all, it feels smooth. I think its perfect for the 'no makeup' makeup look if you apply it ever so lightly. And its not too matte and not too dewy. Perfect for everyday. But if you cannot stand the creasing then maybe you should think twice before getting it.
Disclamer: As mentioned, this product was given to me as a winning prize from their giveaway which I had won. And as usual, all opinions are my own and 100% honest :)

Pick me for Kiehl's Fun In The Sun!

Hello loves!   Guess what? There is another exciting event coming up for the butterflies next month that I'm sure many of you would love to be
part of it. Well, so do I! But only 30 lucky butterflies will be a part of this exciting event and I want to be one of the lucky 30 rama-rama ^_^

1) Why do you need 24 hour no-shine fresh hydration?
First thing first, we live in a very hot and humid country and we get exposed to the blazing sun everyday or every minute even! Sunblock only act as a shied from the harmful rays but unfortunately, it doesn't keep your skin hydrated. For someone who has oily combination skin like me, the 24 hours no-shine fresh hydration is a must thing to have! My skin is really dry all around my face except for my T-Zone and I do need to put a lot of moisturizer to keep it hydrated otherwise it will start to flake sometime in the day. And I find that putting a lot of moisturizer on my face causes my T-Zone to look extra shiny throughout the day, I don't know, maybe its just my moisturizer but its really annoying and I hate it. So hopefully this product can solve my problem and keeping me fresh and hydrated!

2) What do you love about Kiehl's?
I got to say that its their store! I mean, have you seen it? Its wicked cool! I remember the very first time I stepped into Kiehl's store, probably three years back and I was very much astonished by the whole concept of the store. Its really something else with the tengkorak and all. Aside from that, I really love the friendly environment that they practiced. I really hate going into stores where the SA make you feel like you don't belong there but its different with Kiehl's. Its not just about making sale but they do really want to help their customers and help them find the perfect product for their skin problem. And they don't force you either. They give you samples for you to try in case it may or may not work instead of forcing you to buy something that later may irritate you and you can't return it back which I had experienced it as well. Keep up the good work Kiehl's!

I hope I will be selected as one of the lucky 30 butterflies and bersantai with Kiehl's next month!

Event: Butterfly Project Laser Tag Party

Hello loves! ❤ On May 10th, I had my very first experience on playing Laser Tag with 40 other butterflies at Laser Warzone, eCurve. The event was to celebrate our beloved blogger community, The Butterfly Project 1st year anniversary. Yay, congrats! Can't really tell you how grateful I am to be apart of this wonderful and amazing community! I never thought of being what I am now if it wasn't for them. I will keep on supporting this community and do anything that I could to make it better. Cheers to many more years to come!

Before the event started, we were introduced on how to play the game while eating a very spicy nasi lemak. I was told that it was really spicy right after I mixed quite a lot of the sambal with my rice HAHAHA. Then, we divided into 4 big groups which are; Huntress (my group!), Mulan, Athena and Laser Fly. The war zone was really dark but you can still see what was going on inside. Each gun has their own name so pick any gun you like. The vest has two colours, blue and green. So in the war zone, if your team is wearing blue then only shoot those who are wearing green.

That's my team, Huntress! We were the first team to go to the battle field with team Mulan. We lost unfortunately. We lost twice but managed to win first during the last battle. I was Nebula for the last game and got first! Hehe super proud of that. We learnt that Nebula, Tank, Commander, Dodger (maybe a few more) are one of the good guns. Avoid getting Cipher 'cause that gun is not really working well. It was always placed last.

Our team also learnt to always choose the back side of the warzone. My favourite place was the stage at the back. I can really see my target. The other thing I learnt was that don't just take cover and wait for your target, you got to run around and find (or eat!) your target and shoot the crap out of them hahahahaha joking. But really, it worked. For the first 3 games I took cover and waited for my rivals but for the last game, I went mad. No more hiding and waiting, its peek-a-boo time! GRATATA! :p

The event ended with announcing the winners and cutting cake ceremony. Team Laser Fly won 1st place followed by team Athena. Our team, Huntress won 3rd and team Mulan 4rd. 1st-3rd place got a medal with Butterfly Project on it, so cute and a buy 1 free 1 voucher! Wee totally going to come back soon and shoot some more, it was really really fun! I was sweating like crazy because of all the running and later at home, I can't really walk for 2 days because of the cramp HAHA tak fit langsung. A little tips for you ladies, please dress comfortably (like NadKassim si cantik kat depan sekali tu) and if possible, forget all the makeup 'cause you are going to sweat a lot and run everywhere. One of the best events indeed. Looking to have more events like this in the future ;)

Haul: International Beauty Expo 2014

Hello loves!  ❤ Today was the first day of the International Beauty Expo (IBE) 2014 at KL Convention Centre, KLCC. I have been waiting for this event for so long so of course I went there today with my mom. I was in the market for skincare products since my skin has been acting up real bad so I just pandang sebelah mata to all the makeup things LOL. Before we get to the haul, lets see what went down at the IBE!

This is where you register as either as a non-trade (visitor) or a trade. If you either scan a bar code provided there and register online if you don't want to wait in line but if you don't have any internet access then you just gotta wait in line. You have to fill a form first before you can register and that's what you will get after you have registered. A badge with you name on it which you can use for 4 days of entry and a shopping bag.

So sorry that these were the only pictures that I managed to take but I will tell you what's there at the IBE!

Cosmetics: There were a lot of retail/wholesale makeup supply booths that sells makeup like false lashes (so many to choose from!), glitters, makeup tools, brushes, international makeup brands (korea, japan, thailand, etc), hair products in normal size/salon size, hair tools, hair equipment (steamer, etc), nail polishes, nail rack, everything that gotta do with nails you name it all got and its all priced at a ridiculously discounted price!

Ie: 500ml-800ml products priced at rm38-40 I mean whaaaat?

Skincare: Just.. Ya Allah so many! LOL. From local to International bebeh. If face masks are what you are searching for then you will have a headache using which brand of face masks you wanna try haha. There were also a big giant powder mask that facial centres often use (most of the skincare companies there are mainly searching for companies/facial centre/spa to supply too) so everything were priced at a very crazy discounted price. You might not need to go to facial anymore. You can just do it at home. You can buy facial/skincare equipment too there were a streamer, ultrasonic machine, UV light, you name it, everything that a facial centre has, you can find it there. Wax, everything, you name it.

There were also some makeup/cosmetology academies there so if you are searching for that than you can also check it out. They are doing crazy promotion if you decided to enroll.

These are the things that I managed to catch. Mostly skincare products hehe and I also bought a giant ass makeup bag (cost me rm100 can you believe it?) cause I like to pretend to be a makeup artist! Haha. Will update you soon on these products hehe.

Review: Fairy Beauty Fairy Whitez

Hello loves!  Last time I did a review on a sister product of Fairy Whitez which is the Fairy Blossom (click here). Fairy Blossom focuses more on breast enlargement and your inner health while this Fairy Whitez focuses more on your face area and lightening up your skin. You can go and read my review on the Fairy Blossom first then come back and continue reading my review on the Fairy Whitez so that you get better understanding and won't get confused or anything as both products have its own benefits and caters different needs of our outer and inner health.

Just like Fairy Blossom, Fairy Whitez also contains 10 bottles worth 22 Mils each in each box. Its made out of safe and natural ingredients: Mulberry and Lingonberry (6000mg), L-Glutathione (500mg), Kiwi Seed Extract (350mg), Salmon Placenta (1500mg), Collagen (3000mg) and Artichoke (500mg). Yang penting, halal. These ingredients help to smooth and restore the youthfulness of your skin and enhance your skin complexion. With 1-2 bottles a day, your skin will appear brighter, younger and you will be glowing from within.

If your skin concern is one of these; wrinkles, dark circle, pigmentation, pimples / acne scars, saggy skin, large pores then Fairy Whitez is your bae! It helps to reduce and fight all of that. Just drink 1-2 bottles a day. I only drink once a day. But before you drink it, shake it for about 5 seconds then remove the cap and insert the straw provided and drink it up! It tastes like berry so don't worry, very delicious. But its a little too concentrated and sour but after awhile, you will get used to it, like I did LOL.

Actually, I've been drinking Fairy Whitez for 4-5 months now even before I took Fairy Blossom so I'm sorry 'cause I can't provide any comparison pictures but below are what I've accumulated from 4-5 months of consuming Fairy Whitez. But just to clarify things, last month I took a pill to heal my inflamed skin but I had to stop 'cause its dangerous to consume regularly so due to that, my skin's been acting up real bad, tiny bumps all over my face. Those who've seen me lately, you'd know how bad my skin condition is right now. Fairy Whitez had nothing to do with it. That being said, here are the results of Fairy Whitez that I've accumulated all these while. But results may vary from person to person.

Result:
  • Before consuming Fairy Whitez, I had a lot of acne scars. This helps to reduce some of my scars and lightens those really dark and stubborn scars.
  • It prevents dark spots from forming and lightens up my complexion.
  • It does not prevent acne at all however, it controls it. Only a few breakouts a month which is actually a good news for me! HAHA
  • It reduces my dark circles after 1 box of consumption as I'm an insomniac and dark circles are my worst enemy.
  • The visibility of my pores were reduced at some point but now, nothing changes.
  • My skin's more subtle, smooth and hydrated after two months.

Overall: Different from Fairy Blossom, Fairy Whitez works 2x faster and more effective in terms of improving my complexion but I do prefer Fairy Blossom more when it comes to giving/boosting my energy and keeping my period pain at bay. But lets face it, we all want better complexion and if we had to choose either one, I'm sure everyone is willing to bear with their painful period pain just so they can have better complexion am I right? I'm serious, this is the only beauty drink that I'm taking and will continue taking it because I believe in it and I saw and still see what its done to my skin - making it better.
*Dislamer: These products were sent to me for reviewing purpose but all opinions are my own and 100% honest. Always has, always will :)

Review: Dentiste Premium & Natural White Toothpaste Tube

Hello loves! ❤ I heard you have been searching for a good whitening toothpaste. Well, look no further! Let me introduce you something that I have been using and enjoying for the past months. Meet Dentiste Premium & Natural White Toothpaste! So much love for this. I was a braces girl for two years and after I took it off last year, I noticed that there were some stains on my teeth caused by the braces and there are still some stains left. Getting my teeth professionally whiten is expensive so this is as good as it can get though it may take longer than getting it professional done but its a lot more cheaper so why not? I don't mind the time B-)

With Nano-HAp in Dentiste' Premium & Natural White formula makes it effective not only at removing and preventing stain deposition but also at restoring the natural gloss of tooth enamel and results in safe, natural and whiter teeth. With regular twice a day brushing Dentiste' Premium White provides whitens teeth, freshens breath, fights plaque, fights tartar, fights gingivitis, fights cavities and builds increasing protection against painful sensitivity.

It claims to whiten your teeth in just two weeks. Its very safe to use, effective and long lasting. The toothpaste is in blue colour and has a minty feel to it which I love 'cause it makes my breath fresh hehe. The toothbrush is the softest I have ever used and the handle is soft too. The toothpaste works best with the toothbrush so you gotta get both! :D

Likes: The brush is really soft, I really like it. The toothpaste refreshes my breathe with the minty feeling. Something I look for in a toothpaste hehe. But best of all, it did what it claims to do, whitens my teeth in just 2 weeks! Though its not that white but it does help to fade those ugly stains. I will definitely keep using it and update you guys!

Dislikes: The only thing I don't like about it is that the tube is not fully filled with the toothpaste. You can refer to the picture above. Although the toothpaste is sealed but I have to really press the tube in order to get the toothpaste out.

Overall: Really love this toothpaste despite all. I mean, did you see the pictures above? It works great! It made my teeth 2 shades lighter than it was before. Love it!

TAG: Four or More!

Hello loves!  Today I wanna do a tag post that I find very interesting and feel like doing it ASAP LOL. It's actually a video tag by Emily (Emilynoel83) from YouTube. She's amazing and stunning ugh love her! So this tag is about showing/sharing your makeup products that you have either four or more of it. You can watch the video which I will link it down below at the bottom to get more info of what this tag is all about hehe.

Essense Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 01 Black Fever
If you follow me on Instagram then you'd know that I've been wanting this since forever but its always out of stock so as
soon as I saw it on the shelf, I quickly grabbed it all like its nobody's business. I don't care. LOL! Love this pencil
but not quite love the formulation. Its harsh and doesn't glide so smoothly.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
I'm not a mascara girl, I'll give you that. I don't go out buying mascaras like its nobody's business lol no. I usually just use one until
its all dried up / used up. But there was a buy 1 free 1 sale going on at SaSa a while back and you know, I just gotta plus I love The Falsies!

Maybelline Color Tattoo
Again, only purchased this because of the buy 1 free 1 sale LOL never buy full price guys! But I'm grateful that I bought these
because its ah-mah-zing! Wish there's more colours here in Malaysia just like in the US but oh well. A must have for makeup junkies!

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Square Refill
Minus the pink shade, the rest are my absolute fav copper bronze eyeshadow combo paired with a blue eyeliner
ugh so pretty! I did a review on it which you guys can read it (here).

Elianto Eyeshadow
Back when I was starting out in this makeup field, I only use these. Still though. For a cheap price, Elianto has some
really pretty and pigmented shadows I must say. The pink one was the very first eyeshadow I bought :) hihi.

Inglot Freedom System Round Lipstick Refill
Got these refills during their first ever warehouse sale (here). Unfortunately, I only managed to get five. I want more
but I came to the warehouse on the second day. A lot of lipstick shades orang lain dah kebas.

Maybelline Lip Polish
This is actually something that I'm most proud of. Before this, I'm not at all a fan of any lip gloss but after I tried these, I'm in love.
Plus, the packaging is super cute and eye catching. Sorry the picture is a bit off, but my favourite one is the red one.

Revlon Lip Stain & Matte Balm
Come on, who doesn't love Revlon's colour stick am I right? The best and affordable! You can see how much I love the lip
stain ones till there's no more label already LOL the matte ones are relatively new and I'm going to review it soon! ;)

NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream
The colours are absolutely gorgeous but the products are not... So sad that these are
not as good as the SMLC ones. Gonna review it and tell you guys why in details!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
Aaaaaaaaaa so happy that I finally got my hands on Addis Ababa! Was in luck to find it restocked at Sephora Sunway branch.
Managed to grab Milan and Antwerp as well! From left: Addis Ababa, Amsterdam, San Paolo, Antwerp, Milan, Istanbul.

MAC Lipstick
Probably the third thing I'm most proud of in the lip product topic of course. The second one is the SMLCs. Though these lipsticks are
a bit pricey, for the quality that you're getting, I would say its worth it. My most favourite one is the first from left, All Fired Up (Matte).
Love the colour! My first very MAC lipstick is the third from right, Milan Mode (Lustre). From left: All Fired Up (Matte), Lickable
(Cremesheen), Flat Out Fabulous ( Retro Matte), Candy Yum Yum (Matte), Milan Mode (Lustre), Chic (Frost), Meltdown (Frost).

And that concludes my Four or More Tag! What do you guys think? Too much? Hehe.
Now, ready to be tagged?! As usual,
I TAG ALL OF YOU! WHO THINK THEY HAVE FOUR OR MORE MAKEUP PRODUCTS IN THEIR COLLECTION!
Show me your collection bebeh! I would love to see it :)
