Review: NARS Audacious Lipsticks

Salam everyone!

When Nars first came out with these lipsticks, all the girls and the grandmas were crazy over it. All over Instagram I saw my blogger friends raving about it and they all bought Audrey which unfortunately at that time, Nars was only available at Pavilion so that shade was sold out. Instead, I bought (well my boyfriend actually bought for me ) these;
From left - Janet, Michiyo, Anna, Carmen & Dominique. (Anna & Dominique I bought in UK)

Hehe, sorry for them being dirty *tutup muka* I tend to travel with them because they are just so good! And the colours from the 2 pictures above got mixed up with the name picture at the bottom up there (geddit?). Following the first 2 pictures; From left -  Carmen, Anna, Michiyo, Janet and Dominique. These are just 5 out of 40 shades that they carry. And these lipsticks are so creamy, awesome colour pay-off and gives a fuller lip effect to you - no kidding! Even Temptalia gave them almost all As and only 6 Bs out of 40 shades!

You could probably tell that I use Janet (purple) the most. It's so beautiful on me! Plus, it's the least vibrant colour (before I added Anna & Dominique) I could pull off everyday. Michiyo (Pink) is just way too vibrant like a crazy Nicki Minaj pink. I wore it once during practicum on an assembly day and boyyy, bad day to test it out! HAHA.

Trust me, Michiyo looks way brighter irl but these are the colours worn on lips. Again, they are the creamiest, velvety feel, satin finish lipsticks I've ever tried. I even told my mom to get one in UK. I said that these lipsticks would blow her mind and change the way she sees lipsticks (over gila) HAHAHA but that's actually how I feel about them + they are quite long lasting. Temptalia gave Anna a B+ but to me, Michiyo is a B+. And Dominique is this beautiful purple-ly-grey shade that Idk how to style it but it's absolutely beautiful!

Review: Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

Salam everyone!

I rarely blog about foundation and that's because it's hard for me to find the perfect one that suits me in Malaysia. Most of my favourite foundations are from overseas which I sayang to use since it's hard to get. I was contemplating between this and NARS Sheer Glow but I ended up getting this instead since it's easier to get at Sunway Pyramid je.

Comes in this beautiful glass bottle, it carries a standard 30ml/1.0 fl oz worth of foundation. I heard great reviews about it that's why I decided to give it a try. I wanted to get it ever since it got out but my shade was always OOS. I decided to go with the shade Nude after arguing with my boyf on which shade to get HAHAHA but turns out, my perfect match would be mixing Nude (slightly lighter for me) with Light Beige (one shade darker than Nude)

I've never tried Too Faced foundations before and I must say that I'm incredibly impressed with this. It's so flawless on skin, blurs out imperfections and easy to blend both with sponge (my fav method!) and brush. And it doesn't make me look cakey at all, buildable even when I layer 2-3 pumps. It's medium to full coverage but looks absolutely natural and lasts long!

You can see how beautiful it is even when swatched. It even covers up the mole after 2 layers. But of course, you need concealer for extra coverage but if you're going light, this is nice too. My face doesn't look cakey even with 2-3 layers, still flawless & smooth. It has a dewy/luminous glow finish so for oily skin, beware. I have combo skin so I do need to blot excessively especially that I'm extra oily now tetiba but I don't mind since it looks flawless hikhik

Infused with:
Coconut Water: To delicately replenish skin's moisture levels
Alpine Rose: To brighten skin's appearance and promote elasticity
Hyaluronic Acid: For a smoother, more youthful appearance

Overall, I really am impressed by the formulation and coverage of the foundation. It sets smoothly and flawlessly on my skin. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it for now just beware those with oily skin! Prepare your puff & blotting paper in your bag! hehe. But yeah, total head over heels for it. I gotta save up some money to buy another one in the shade Light Beige!

*Update 25/2/16* A friend told me this foundation is meant for oily combination skin but sadly for me, it gets oily on the nose. My thought would be, maybe it's actually dewy and I'm just not used to it hehe will update more!

Review: Biore Cleansing Oil

Salam everyone!

I cannot believe that I haven't blogged about this before. Been using this all year last year. I even featured it in my Best of Beauty 2016 (coming soon!). There are many types of makeup removers and I have tried most of them but I just seem to keep coming back to cleansing oil. Especially Biore Cleansing Oil. It has become my favourite although I know it is bad for my skin hehe what chu gonna do :p

Comes in this clear pink container, it also has a clear gel liquid consistency. It has a pump locker and the size is just perfect for travelling. That is why I love it as I have been travelling last year. Easy to just selit inside the bag and not worrying about it spilling all over. It works great in removing waterproof makeup and easy to use even while in the shower (how I am using it). Tengah basahkan rambut tu terus buang makeup sekali senang kijo.

Even though most people tend to stay away from oil-based removers and gravitate more towards the water-based or cleansing wipe ones but to me, the oil-based one is quicker and easier for me to remove my makeup thoroughly. Personal preference I guess. It does not leave a greasy feeling and gentle on my sensitive skin except for the eyes. Do not let it get to your eyes! Hahaha damn you!

So I let the products set for awhile and all that's left was Rimmel Provocalips & Maybelline Hypercurl (if i'm not mistaken) mascara. And a little bit residue of the Etude Brow Gel & Dalia. Guess I have to really sental or double cleanse it next time I'm using it on my face.

Ingredients: Mineral Oil, Peg-12 Laurate, Isododecane, Water, Isopropyl, Palmitate, Cyclopentasiloxane, Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate, Decyl Glucoside, Polysorbate 85, Glyceryl Oleate, Isostearic Acid, Isostearyl Glyceryl Ether, Myristyl Alcohol, Isostearyl Glyceryl Pentaerythrityl Ether, Alcohol, BHT, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Tocopherol, Phosphoric Acid.

Overall, despite the makeup test above, I still like it cause well, it is inexpensive and probably the cheapest cleansing oil I could find out there. And since I'm wearing makeup everyday (meaning cepat habis), tak ada lah bazir sangat duit and terasa ringan sikit tangan nak beli huhux

Price: Below RM20 for 150ml @ all selected pharmacies

Anyway, do you guys have any other inexpensive cleansing oils recommendations?
Thanks xx
