Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

Hello loves!  Finding the right foundation has always been a struggle for me 'cause my face is really oily and I have a lot of stuffs going on on my face so most of the time I would go for a medium-full coverage foundation and my favourite has always been the Revlon Colorstay. I swear by it like a thousands time but I'm always up and running to find and try something new and probably similar and when I heard Bourjois is coming to Malaysia, I just had to try one of their foundations since many of my blogger friends raved about it so why not! hehe.

Enriched with a fruit therapy (Apricot for radiance, Melon for hydration & Apple to protect your youth) formula and crystalline pigments to enhance and even out the complexion while letting in the natural light for that healthy looking glow that lasts up to 16 hours. Its soft, fresh texture easily blends onto the skin for a comfortable flawless finish leaving you with beautiful, radiant and hydrated skin. And its available in 8 shades that is promised to fit your skin tone.

Although it gives a light-medium coverage but the finish is absolutely flawless. Though with a lot of imperfections, it still helps in making your face/skin look and stay flawless. It covers up the redness pretty well but if you have like a really dark spot(s) then a full coverage concealer might come in handy. It buildable but even so, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It gives such a pretty glow on your skin but those with oily skin, have a blot paper or loose powder ready.

Likes: It gives such a beautiful, glowing and flawless finish. Buildable but doesn't feel heavy. Evens out the redness but you may need a concealer to hide major imperfections.  It matches my skin well, has a smooth texture and it doesn't break me out or irritate me at all. Oh and it also smells good! hehe

Dislike: It can look a bit cakey if you build it up too much :s

Overall: Gosh, what's not to love? Been loving it ever since I got it and I just can't stop wearing it. Even wore it during Aidilfitri and I felt comfortable throughout the day and I felt great. Won't say that its sweat, heat and humidity proof but because of the light-medium coverage, it lasts pretty well on my face even though I tend to sweat a lot. Will totally repurchase it! A holy grail product for sure!

Review: GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment

Hello loves! ❤ In my hand, I have one of the highly raved and talked about facial mask of the era throughout the blogging and youtubing sphere, the GlamGlow Youthmud Exfoliate Treatment! One of GlamGlow best selling product. The other one is the GlamGlow Supermud that caters for those with acne, scars or enlarged pores whereas the GlamGlow Youthmud is more suitable for dull and anti-aging skin that longed for youthful radiance skin. Sometimes it wont hurt treating your skin with such special care with a luxurious facial mask that has taken the world by storm!

Founded by Glenn & Shannon Dellimore back in 2010, GlamGlow said
"Youthmud was designed as a 10 mins professional ‘facial in a jar’ for behind-the-scenes use in Hollywood’s entertainment industries that
provides immediate camera-ready glowing skin. With real Green Tea Leaf, its said to have powerful anti-aging and anti-wrinkle results,
delivering fresh antioxidants directly into the mud to hydrate, balance oil production and fight free radical damage. French Sea Clay works to
detoxify and awaken the skin by drawing out impurities, while Ivy helps tone, tighten and lift the skin. Revitalize dull, dry skin with
Volcanic Rock multi-level surface exfoliation and experience smoother, brighter, softer skin."

Upon application, it does tends to dry up pretty fast so you need to work fast. After cleansing, apply a thin layer all over the
face avoiding the eye area. Because my skin is pretty sensitive, it does stings a little which kind of hurts but I find that with the cooling/
tingling sensation, it kind of covers that up and turning it into a pleasant and joyful experience. It comes in a thick and chunky
consistency. Chunky being the Green Tea Leaf. And it smells so divine! And it lingers! Love it

Once its on, your face will feel hella tight. I can barely smile but that just means its working. GlamGlow also said
"it leaves skin noticeably radiant and glowing, activates moisturizing collagen synthesis, provides gentle resurfacing exfoliation, helps to
leave skin smoother, brighter and softer, provides tighter skin texture and tighter pores, helps to provide a more youthful appearance,
absorbs impurities without removing natural oils and helps to protect against free radical damage."

Results:
It definitely delivered what it promised; smoother skin texture and tighter pores. My skin felt super smooth for the whole day! Didn't notice any radiance or glowing-ness but it does brightened up the face. I found that it does dried up a few of my acne leaving some dry patches here and there but it was nothing major. And it doesn't leave any redness behind and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin just the minor sting I mentioned before. When rinsing it off, its advisable to wash it in circular motion to exfoliate your skin. It does feel a bit harsh but not to the point where it hurt/irritated me.

Overall: Excellent product that delivered instant result. I'm sure with constant usage, I will be able to see major results. I do wish I could try the Supermud since its made for pore, acne prone skin like mine. If you have a few extra bucks, I think it would be a good investment. I'm just grateful that I even got the chance to try it out even if its just a sample size. Thanks The Butterfly Project. Love it! But will I purchase it once I'm out? Tunggu kerja kot hehe.
Disclaimer: This product was given to me for reviewing purpose but that doesn't affect my reviews and thoughts about it.

Review: MAC x Sharon Osbourne Duchess Eyeshadow Quad (Part 1)

Hello loves!  I'm so excited to get my hands on these two products. I've been wanting and waiting for it since last July or maybe Jun. During the 3rd day of Aidilfitri, I spent my night at One Utama to shop some stuffs (and boy, I went crazy!) and I happened to be near MAC and I just felt like asking about the Kelly and Sharon Osbourne Collection. They said that it will be out in August but lucky me, they had some in stock like a pre sale or something like that so apa lagiii hehehe. Kelly is more on the crazy bright sort of look and Sharon is more on the natural side. And as for me, I love going all natural on the eyes and super bright lips. I wanted to get one from each collection but unfortunately, they were out of the lipstick I wanted from Kelly collection so I went ahead and bought the brow powder instead since I'm all out of that anyway. I'm going to review the eyeshadow quad first :D

Can I just say that the colours are soooo me?! Even the MAC SA recommended me this. And I've been wearing it ever
since I bought it. Super super gorgeous and I can turn it into either a morning or night look because of Embark.

Starting from top left; Sweet Eyes (Veluxe Pearl), Sexy Eyes (Veluxe Pearl), Femme Fatale (Satin) and Embark (Matte).

"Four coordinated Eye Shadows featuring Sharon’s shades of golden brown (femme fatale), dark reddish brown (embark), soft warm
bronze (veluxe pearl) and light golden nude (veluxe pearl). The highly pigmented powder formula applies evenly, blends and
builds beautifully. Limited-edition packaging in Sharon’s trademark red with lavender signature." According to MAC website.

Yup, its really pigmented, have a velvety feel and little goes a long way. And its very easy to blend too just use a very light hand!
There are so many ways to use the quad and this is one of them. Will do more in the future!

Likes: Pigmented, creamy/doesn't feel dry, easy to blend, cute packaging and travel-friendly.

Dislikes: A tad bit expensive.

Overall: For a first timer (owning an eyeshadow quad from MAC), I must say that I'm really digging it. I'm not really good with mixing shadows/colours so its really convenient to have something that is pre-built and of good awesome quality too! Super nice for an everyday wear!

Review: MAC x Kelly Osbourne Morning Mister Magpie Brow Duo (Part 2)

Hello loves! ❤ Continuing to Part 2 which is the Kelly Osbourne Morning Mister Magpie Brow Duo! I reviewed the Sharon Osbourne Duchess Eyeshadow Quad before (click here) which is fyi, my favourite eyeshadow quad at the moment! Can't stop using it! And guess another thing that I can't stop using? This brow duo! I love using brow powder(s) over any brow products just 'cause it gives me the most natural finish ever. Previously I used the Essense brow powder but it got melted with my old makeup bag so.. And luckily, I bought this brow duo just in time to replace that beloved and uber cheap brow powder that I loved so much.

"A perfect pairing of complementary colours in Soba and Brun – two satin finishes that blend beautifully on brows to match
range of blonde to brunette shades. Limited-edition packaging in Kelly’s light violet with red signature." According to MAC.

Left: Soba - Soft Taupe (Permanent). Right: Brun - Dark Brown (Permanent)

I mixed up! HAHA. The "Soba" is actually Brun and the "Brun" is actually Soba hehe oopsy!
I use Soba on the inner part of my brows and Brun on the outer parts.

Likes: Compact and travel-friendly, long lasting, matches my brow colour really well and doesn't look harsh at all and you can build up the colour according to your likings.

Dislikes: Super expensive for a brow duo. Felt like a tad bit waste of money.

Overall: I kind of like it I mean its alright but its not something that I would repurchase just 'cause the price is ridiculous for a brow duo but I would rather repurchase the Essence one which costs not more than RM15 and its very similar too except the MAC one lasts a bit longer.

Price: RM104 @ All MAC Stores.

Review: Two Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Fuchsia

Hello loves! ❤ Guess what is my favourite makeup product? That's right, lipstick!!!!! Speaking of lipstick, I know I have yet to post my lipstick collection video. I filmed one a few months ago but since then, my collection has grown a lot bigger so I'm currently rethinking whether or not I should just release the old one or make a new one. Probably a new one but we will see.

Getting back to the topic, this is my new lipstick obsession! Bought it during the Cremorlab Event (click here) with the help of Ashley Yeen which btw if you haven't know/follow her yet, you definitely should! Love her reviews! Bumped into her at Sephora and she helped me picked the colour. She even modeled for me too by putting the other colours on her lips and recommending me a few other great products which I now regret for not buying it. I only bought one of this Melted lipstick 'cause I wasn't sure if its really thaaaat good and now, I just can't wait to collect them all!

The NEW Two Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick is a combination of a lipstick, lip gloss and also, lip stain. Totally the dream! A very long lasting, pigmented and creamy lip product that has a glossy and matte finish (if you get what I'm trying to say). The box says that it uses exclusive technology to keep cauldrons of molten lipsticks liquid and creamy. It comfortably coats lips in bursts of intense colour that lasts for hours! It comes in six (6) colours: Nude, Peony, Coral, Violet, Ruby and Fuchsia (the one I'm reviewing, Intense/Hot pink).

Comes in a tube that carries 0.40 fl. oz worth of amazing lip product. It doesn't require any brush and you don't need to fix it or spread it out with your fingers. The Melted lipstick is built with an innovative, angled velvet tip that's uber soft and gentle for precise application. Just squeeze out the product like so and spread it all across your lips either gently or just go crazy. You can never go wrong with it. But keep in mind that little goes a long way. Squeeze out a little among first and built it up later 'cause the colour is super intense so you got to be careful especially with other colours. And believe me when I say it will last for the whole day. You can eat, drink, whatever and the lipstick will still look great!

Likes: The applicator is really easy to use, it distributes the product evenly and smoothly. No lip liner or brush is required and I really like the squeeze out tube. Something different and really cute. Its really pigmented, lasts almost all day and just stay put on your lips. You can eat, drink and there will still be a colour on your lips. It feels so light and non-sticky which I love and it just look nice on my lips! Super love this colour

Dislike: Nah-thang!

Overall: Can't wait to collect them all! Though they are super saturated, bright and intense and some colours may not suit me or everybody, but the thought of having all of them in my collection just makes me happy hehe will collect one by one slowly. My next target is Ruby (bright red!). Ya'll should really try this lipstick out!

Review: Beauty Gua Sha (Scraping Therapy) Facial

Hello loves! ❤ Just right before Aidilfitri, I welcomed two beautiful and super friendly girls, Fiona and Yee Mun to my home to introduce me to a cool and painless facial treatment that can be done at the comfort of our own home. Honestly, when I first got the offer, I never thought that it was going to be a facial. I thought like a massage or something HAHA. Because of the severe acne I'm facing at the moment, the treatment's not really advisable for me to do so my sister had to honour of trying out the treatment!

But first, what is Beauty Gua Sha or Scraping Therapy Facial? Gua Sha is a traditional treatment that has been used for thousands of years. "Gua" means scrape and "Sha" means the sandy looking spots which might develops after Gua Sha. It can be in red, purple, black or brown colour. Not everyone will develops "Sha". If you develop "Sha", it might indicate some part of your body is not in a healthy state. Sounds scary right? But its truly not! This treatment is done by using a Buffalo Board (HAHA I know right, how is it not scary?) but its not really a buffalo lah or shaped like a buffalo. I will show you guys the picture later but its shaped like a cute little fish. So the board is used to scrape our face to enhance our complexion and skin radiance and also energizes our internal organs and straightens immunity.

This painless Scraping Therapy requires these products for maximum results and satisfaction. The sequence starts from top left to
bottom right then lastly, the Moisture Intense Masque which is not in the picture but you can see it in the picture above.

Yup, just had to makeover my sister and gave her a cute (lah sangat :p) little ancient korean hair
style with her hair pushed back. Does her hair look sexy pushed back (Mean Girls reference) HAHA.
After all the cleansing and scrub, the Pore Cleansing Masque was placed on my sister.

Next style, a little fringe on the side. This time just let the hair loose with a little neck injury HAHAHA.
Comel right? :p After a while of leaving the masque on, its time to remove it and proceed with
the next steps before applying the Youth Xtend all over the face before starting the Scraping Therapy.

Up next, severe neck injury with a classic bangs HAHAHA I'm so good at this :p And then, the Scraping Therapy begun!
That black thing is the Buffalo Board which is used to scrape the face like I mentioned before. Its very safe
and painless. Its more like a face massage and that's why its not really advisable for those with severe acne to do this.

So what's the benefits of doing this treatment? This treatment inncreases cell turnover rates, detoxification, improves blood
circulation and skin texture, eliminates puffiness due to water retention, removes dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother and
more radiant, reduce pore size, improves elasticity of skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, prevents blackheads and whiteheads,
lighten freckles and dark spots, lifting and firming, reduce dark eye circles and eye puffiness.

Tadaaa, the left one is the before and the right one is the after. Instant brightness am I right?

Results:
We had a family dinner/iftar that night right after the facial and my sister's face was glowing. It lifted up her face making it looked brighter and she said it felt softer and smoother too. She often had facial at Taipan, Subang and after the Scraping Therapy she wanted to just stick with the Scraping Therapy. Even after 2-3 days her face still looked nice. I'm just really amazed with the instant brightness and smoothness!

Scraping Treatment at only RM128 for the first time! Experience this amazing,
painless and safe Scraping Therapy yourself! You will not regret it ;)
