Review: BeautyOat - Collagen + Oat Drink

Hello loves! Breakfast is something that I don't get to take everyday. I always start my day with a power (by power I mean fattening) lunch. Not because I'm not a morning person (which I'm actually not) but because I don't have the time. I'm always on the rush to class every morning, like the word "breakfast" never existed in my dictionary. But ever since I was introduced to BeautyOat, my day everyday became somewhat meaningful.

Collagen + Oat Drink. What? I know right, ever heard of that? BeautyOat is the first Collagen Plus+ Oat Drink in Malaysia. The best of both worlds right there. It contains Oats, Marine Collagen, Sakura Extract and Pomegranate Extract. All of these have been proven to prevent early aging, minimize free-radical damage to body and also soothe skin inflammation. It's a good source of nutrients that contains 100% natural and halal ingredients that not just keeps your body healthy but also keeps your skin glowing and clear.

'Rejuvenate your skin in just 14 days' is what it claims. A collagen + oat drink that provides nutritional meal supplement such as soluble fiber which allows you to attain the look and feel that you desire. BeautyOat promotes firmness, elasticity and even skin tone. It reduces cholesterol, fine lines, pigmentation as well as visible pores. It also improves our immune system, skin texture, tissue repair and boost energy. Best part is, it also prevents heart disease and overweight.

How to drink it? Pour a sachet of BeautyOat into your favourite class and pour in 180ml of warm water. Warm ok. Not hot. Hot water will kill the good nutrients in it. Stir it and your breakfast is served! The perfect way to kick start your day and to wind down before bed. It's easy, quick and delicious. By far the best collagen drink I've tried. Mainly because of the oat. I took it as "already had breakfast" every time I took it. Certainly not one of those collagen drinks where you need to take another "breakfast" after consuming it. With BeautyOat, you just mix it with warm water and you're good to go! Plus, it's delish!

Results: The first thing I noticed was that I became more energized in the morning. No longer a sleepy head in class. It also helped me sleep better at night too when I felt like drinking it before bed. I drank it during my Fractional CO2 Laser Treatment (here) healing process and it does helped in soothing my skin, heal my skin faster as well as making it looked moist. In terms of weight control, I can't really say as I'm consuming pills that have plumping as one of the side effects.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed drinking it and like I said earlier, it's by far the best collagen drink I've tried. Though the drink tasted a bit bland, the oat was delicious. And all together it made it tasteful. Would I continue drinking it? You bet. It's the perfect boost I needed in the morning. Would totally purchase it in the near future.

Lipstick Collection!

Hello loves! ❤ Lipstick. When we talk about lipstick, I could go bananas. I'm super obsessed with lipsticks and I love collecting them as well. I kept on postponing buying anything else 'cause of my obsession toward lipsticks. Crazy. Being a makeup addict is definitely a disease.

The picture above was taken earlier this year and if you have the Robinson's Makeup Drawer, I had all my lipsticks on the top drawer. But now my lipsticks have moved to the bottom drawer where it's double the size and get this, it's freaking full right now. Can't fit anymore. Imma take it as a sign to stop buying lipstick and start saving for a new phone. Anyway, enjoy the video! :)

p/s: I'm not in any way bragging or showing off. I'm not loaded either. It's just that when you really love (doing) something, you would sacrifice and go the extra mile for it. I would rather spend on makeup and skincare rather than clothing or branded hijab.

Butterfly Project Girls Night Out ✿

Hello loves! Night out with the girls just chilling, eating and watching a movie was how I kick-started the month September. It was a memorable night indeed. I had so much fun. Especially when it was a night out with the community; Butterfly Project Malaysia - One of the pillars to the continuous growth of my blog's success. I know I often said it but it's true. They deserve endless praise from me 'cause they are amazing and they will have my full support

The event took place at Indulge Lounge, TGV Cinema, One Utama. I was a volunteer on that day to look after registration with Miss Bulat. She's sweet and kawaii! The theme that night was 'Dress to kill' as there were Best Dress Competition. I'm never into fashion so finding something killer to put on is always a struggle but I tried my best to dress myself to kill that night.

We were also introduced to one of the newest products that were hitting Muse at Watsons, Sunway Pyramid at that time and was also given some goodies from the brand and mini skin analysis. Expect a review soon :p

To make the night even more wonderful, for dinner, we were served with delicious foods. Some of which I have never tasted or heard before. And for the first time ever, I ate a lot of veggies that night. It was such an achievement for someone who doesn't eat veggies at all. Looking at all these foods right now is making me so hungry *slurps*

After we were done eating, it was time to announce the winners for the best dress. There were three winners; Sabrina Azmi, Caroline and Cindy. Congrats ladies!

To end the awesome night and to make it even more memorable, we were all adjourn to the cinema hall to watch the movie Lucy. It was my first time in the Indulge Movie Hall. Yup, expect a jakun reaction from me that day LOL. We were served ice cream desert and popcorn while watching Lucy.

It was such an awesome experience. I had so much fun with the girls. The atmosphere was great, the foods were delightful and the girls were pretty and glamorous. Oh and credit to Butterfly Project for some of the pictures xx

And let's not forget the photo-booth! See told you, the ladies were pretty and glamorous!
Thanks for the awesome night Butterfly Project and ladies!

CO2 Laser Treatment and Stem Cell @ Clinic Medi-i + Giveaway!!

Hello loves! ❤ Last month I underwent CO2 Laser Treament and Stem Cell at Clinic Medi-i in Subang Permai. I was given two choices between a gentle peel and the laser treatment and obviously I chose the laser treatment since my acne and acne scars are quite severe and inflamed. I will go through each and every process I went with you guys as well as the pictures of the pre and post. And stay tuned till the end 'cause you might just be the lucky [2] to try the laser treatment yourself! :)

The Clinic is situated at Pusat Perdagangan Subang Permai near Monterez Golf Club and Subang Airport. The place is clean and I like the fact that there is a child corner, adorable. Dr Lim and his staffs welcomed me with warm smiles and they're super nice. They treated me well too. They even called to check up on me about my progresses.

STEP 1: Like any other clinics, the first step is the consultation. Dr Lim explained further about the two treatments and also encouraged me to go with the laser treatment as it's more suitable for my skin condition. He also offered me the Stem Cell Therapy a.k.a Vampire lift like the one Kim K undergo.

CO2 Laser Treatment is commonly used to treat wrinkles, age spots, acne scars and evening out skin tone. It removes the unhealthy skin. The downsides of it is that the healing process will take up about 3-5 days. It will leave a grid-like pattern/texture (adjustable) and sunburn-like.

The Stem Cell Therapy on the other hand helps to refresh, rejuvenates the skin and making your skin smoother and younger-looking. Uses our own blood, about 20cc and take out the stem cells and put it back into our skin. The two treatments together will make the healing much faster and provides even better result.

STEP 2: (a week after consultation) After cleansing the face and removing everything, the numbing cream was placed all over my face for 30-45 minutes. While waiting, Dr Lim took out my blood. After about 30 minutes, the numbing cream was scrape off and replaced with another thick layer. I was quite amused by the numbness of my face. It felt strange but in a good way.

STEP 3: After almost an hour, it's time for the laser and stem cell! To tell the truth, I was scared as it was my first time and I know it was going to be a painful experience. Luckily, Dr Lim kept me distracted by talking to me and asking questions throughout the process.

Before the laser, the stem cell was inserted first into both of my cheeks then into my forehead, chin and also a few of my acne and scars. At that point I felt like Dr Lim left the needles just poking around my face. It felt like it was in my skin and had never been taken out LOL.

Then proceed to the laser treatment. My eyes were covered so that I wouldn't get blind. But thanks to Dr Lim's lovely assistants for helping me to take the pictures. From the scale 1-10 and 10 being super duper painful, the laser treatment was between 6-7. Think you guys can endure it? ;)

STEP 4: As you know, laser uses heat so your face will be burning and you will feel heating sensation so Dr Lim put on cooling mask for 15 minutes to help cool down my skin. Then moisturizer and a scar pad to help the healing even more faster. I was also given a skincare set to take home and precaution tips, thank you!

During the 1st day

As the day passes, the scar/sunburn got lighter and lighter each day. During the first day my face felt like a cupboard but it went away after the 3rd day. My skin texture got smoother and guess what, no blackheads and whiteheads around the nose! Amazing. It felt smooth, soft and firm. My skin started to flake on the 3rd day especially around the chin and it lasted for awhile. The redness was reduced and there was no active acne during the healing process! Amazing 2.0. Even my friends noticed the changes in my skin; scars getting lighter. So happy when I heard that. My skin took almost 5 days to fully recover which was nice. There was no irritation whatsoever but there was a slight itch when wearing the scar pad every now and then and my lips were kind of dry but other than that, I'm so happy with the result!!

Clinic Medi-i is nice enough to give [2] of my beloved followers to experience the same thing as I did for free.
All you have to do is fill in the form and tell me why you want to be the lucky [2] to try out this treatment!!

Review: Coni Beauty's Beauty Whitening Black Jelly Mask (20ml)

Hello loves! ❤ As there are a lot of whitening products out there especially during these whole whitening and collagen drinks evolution, I know you would have a headache figuring out which one to choose. Well to start simple, why not try a whitening mask? Not just any mask, Coni Beauty's Whitening Black Jelly Mask!

Well suited for blemished skin which requires deep cleansing and claims to calm sensitive skin, this black jelly mask is added with black diamond charcoal, rich in whitening and moisturizing nutrients, and regulates excessive oil. It removes the melanin from the inside out and exfoliate the skin which restores skin’s vitality and elasticity, rejuvenates and brightens dull skin.

The ideal way to gently exfoliate the skin, remove impurities and deep clean the pores. It leaves the skin feeling fresh, elastic and smooth, bright and no longer oily. The black rose essence inside the black jelly mask provides sufficient energy to skin cells, enhancing brightening, whitening effect and anti-oxidant ability. Perfect for all skin types. Alcohol-free and pigment-free.

How to use it? After cleansing, apply appropriate amount of jelly mask (about a layer of 0.3cm) and leave on face for 30 minutes and then scrape it off. Applying 1-3 times every week will cleans the skin deeply.

Ingredients: Water, Rosa Damascena Flower Water/Citric Acid/Sodium, Benzoate/Potassium Sorbate, Actinidia Chinenses (Kiwi) Fruit Water, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Butylene Glycol/Rosa Centifolia Flower Extract, Sodium Polyacrylate/Mineral Oil/Trideceth-6, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil/Tocopherol, Urea, Fragrance.

Likes: It gave me the instant brightness and smoothed out my complexion. It hydrated my skin and eliminated my dead skin cells and repaired it. Doesn't have any tightness feeling and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It also smells very similar to Garden of Eden Scar Serum.

Dislikes: At first there wasn't any dislikes but as I woke up the next morning, it seemed like my skin had some sort of reaction to it. My skin was all inflamed around the area where I applied it.

Overall: Though I loved the fact that it instantly brightened up my face and smoothed out my complexion, I hated how my skin looked/felt the next morning. But the result was amazing though, that I got to give. Would advise those with similar skin condition as I am to first try on a small area of your face before going full speed as a precaution.
