Mother's Day Special - Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Mask & Kinohimitsu Bird's Nest Drink

Welcome May, welcome to my heart ❤ May is not only my birthday month but it's also the month where we celebrate and appreciate the sacrifices and love of our mother. This is the month where people usually pamper and treat their mothers more than usual. We had a family dinner last Sunday where we celebrated my brothers' beloved birthday, my birthday in advance and also Mother's Day! since it's the first Sunday of May. But I wanted to do something more of her as she seem tense lately, so I threw her a facial party! ❤ *Warning; long post!*

My Umi is a facial fanatic but she usually prefers wearing mask after sauna (we have a sauna room at home) but since she's busy sewing curtains, it was an exception. I let her relax with Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Sheet Mask to refresh her energy. This sheet mask in particular is made to hydrate irritated and dehydrated skin. Made from 100% pure organic cotton, each sheet contains half a bottle of soothing essence which makes it suitable for sensitive skin as well. It will leave the skin feeling smooth, refreshed and moisturized. 

While chit-chatting and relaxing over our soothing mask, me and Umi shared a bottle of Kinohimitsu Bird's Nest drink. It was our first time trying a bird nest drink. 1 box contains 6 bottles. Made from 100% genuine high quality bird’s nest with America Ginseng, White Fungus and Rock Sugar, it's rich in Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) and precious nutrients. With every mouthful of the Bird’s Nest, it brings you the gift of beauty and health such as relieving fatigue and supporting respiratory health while promoting youthful, radiant and smooth complexion. 

It also helps to boost immune system and increase resistance to external environmental stress with high glycoprotein content and growth factors. I can't describe the taste but to me it's not sweet nor sour nor bitter LOL. But it's actually not bad once you've tried one. I got really fascinated by the drink. You can see what's inside and what you're about to drink. You have to shake well before drinking and once opened, you gotta drink immediately; chilled or warmed. 

After 25 minutes, it's time to remove our masks. With the balance essence on the mask, Umi rubbed it all over her body. Nope, she doesn't like to waste things haha. I usually just rub it all over my neck. The skin seriously feel soft and supple. It really does hydrate the skin. My skin was loving it till the next morning. Nothing but love for the mask tho! Glad Umi enjoyed our session together. Nothing beats her love.

Review: Klairs Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream

Hello loves! Ever heard of Klairs? ❤ I have seen many of my blogger friends raving about Klairs's products and finally, I had the opportunity to try the brand myself. On top of that awesome news, I had the opportunity to try one of their best sellers, Illuminating Supple Blemish Cream!

A multi-functional product that has a whitening effect, anti-wrinkle care and acts as a sunblock, this BB cream has been upgraded by including hyaluronic acid for moisture and sebum control powder to keep skin soft and natural all day even around the T-zone area. Did you know that Klairs have a unique smart colour system? Haa, their BB cream actually pulls out our natural skin tone while decreasing the white base and toning out our skin for that natural, healthy looking skin! Wow.

Comes in one shade fit all, this BB cream suits all natural skin tone from light to dark. It blends into the skin, corrects them redness and brightens it up and making it look a little bit dewy. Korean gitu youalls. Although it's said to replace primer and finishing powder, I stand by the fact that you do need to set it with a powder after that considering it to be a little bit sticky and lets be real, with Malaysian weather, don't ever dream to get away with just wearing foundation/bb cream. Panas deh. Nonetheless, it instantly hides them pores and redness; evens out my skin tone and did I mention that it's suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin? Score!

Results:

Seriously, the BB Cream gives a flawless foundation-like result. It has a light++ to medium++ coverage if you get what I mean LOL. I love the fact that the BB Cream comes in a pointy-tip tube. Freaking easy to squeeze everything out or just the right amount. No wastage! So far I love everything about it especially the fact that it brightens up my face about one shade lighter 'cause that's how I love my base to be - making me look lighter :p I guess the only downside is that it takes quite awhile to set. Sometimes when I can't wait, I straight away apply powder and still, my face feels sticky meaning it's not quite set yet. But other than that, love it! No wonder it's one of Klairs's best seller items!

Review: SKIN & LAB Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask

Hello loves! ❤ If you have been following my blog, you would have known by now that I really love facial mask but let's be real, who doesn't, right? Facial masks are the best. It keeps me fresh, calm and at ease. I love trying out different facial masks almost every two months and honestly, I keep finding better and better facial masks every time.

SKIN & LAB Dr. Pore Tightening Glacial Clay Facial Mask is the mask that I have been trying for almost two months now. I'm so in love with it that I postponed my urge to try other facial masks LOL cray cray. But it is not a surprise. It has been a favourite of many beauty bloggers around the world.

This facial mask will not only solve the causes of pores and excess sebum but will also purifies the skin in and out while minimizes the enlarged pores and firms up the sagging pore walls. The three main ingredients: Canadian Glacial Clay (3k mg), Oatmeal and Tea Tree Leaf will act together to treat against potential skin problem, goes deep into pores and eliminating surface debris as well as moisturizing. 

Apart from that, it also prevents the appearance of blackheads while leaving a cooling effect after which will give a relaxing feel. This facial mask uses the 3 Pore Care system: Clear (Pre cleansing which will eliminate excessive sebum and dead skin cells), Contract (Recovery phase which will contract existing pore and firms up the pore walls) and lastly, Care (Rejuvenating, nourishing and protecting the skin) 

This facial mask also treats acne problem and is in fact, recommended for acne-prone skin with lower hydration level, sagged or wide-open pores, blackheads/excessive sebum and for boosting the hydration. Just apply a generous amount all over the face and neck (avoiding eye area) and leave it for 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.

Results: Though it stings during the first application every single time, it provides a cooling effect that calms my skin and makes me want to just, relax. It smooths out my skin after wash, making it look super clean and moist as though I'm using the peel-off blackhead mask only better because it doesn't hurt. And did I tell you that it's also hydrating? It didn't feel dry at all. 

And the best part of it that it gradually brightens up my skin, my dark spots and doesn't interfere with my inflammation at all. There wasn't any active breakout during my usage (and even now) so I couldn't tell about the acne part but it did prevent it alright ;) The only thing I dislike is that it smells like my cat's food LOL. Nonetheless, I'm really enjoying this facial mask and grateful that I finally got to try it and will definitely repurchase. Recommend.

Review: Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner (Stardust)

Hello loves! ❤ Aaaaa its sooo good to be back! Sorry for neglect my blog for so long! Luckily I managed to push myself today and edit all the pictures and write a post/review hihi. I have so much to share with you guys and I hope you guys are with me. And also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who had joined my very first giveaway. It was so much fun and I received so many great compliments and encouragement to grow more and make more videos so hopefully soon, InsyaAllah. I'm so blessed to have such amazing friends and readers beside me. I will give back what you guys gave to me :')

Anyway, today I want to introduce yet another amazing product by Miss Hana! Its their Waterproof Gel (pencil) Eyeliner. This one is the Stardust version where there are tiny glitters on the eyeliner itself. I did a review on the original and clean version of it (here) so you guys can check it out. I swear by this product and its my ultimate favourite eyeliners ever. I even bought a few backups btw! hihi. Now the Stardust version, can it beat the other one that I have reviewed and loved? Let's find out!

These eyeliners are waterproof, smudge-proof and last pretty much all day. You basically cry and sweat as crazy and you would like 

and your eyeliner will still stay the same. Its also pigmented yet easy to remove with makeup remover. And again, I must stress that 

the packaging is so adorable! They have 4 colours all together but the ones I'm reviewing is No. 2 Galaxy Black & No. 4 Golden Brown. 

The texture of these eyeliners are smooth, creamy, velvety and it glides on so smoothly! Awesome right? Not only does it lasts long 

and smudge-proof, its also so creamy and easy to glide on! Definitely the best kind of eyeliner! You have oily lids? Often sweats? 

Then this is definitely the eyeliner for you! Love the fact that its glittery to make it more attractive and glamorous. 

Since the previous one (click here) I did a simple and sweet look, this time I decided to go with a more bold look. I 

never did this kind of look before but with these eyeliners, everything is made easy and look stunning and great on me.

Likes: Seriously, what is not to like? And I don't even like it. I freaking love it! Its creamy, it glides on smoothly, you can smudge it and yet, once it dries it will stay put, it doesn't budge at all. It also lasts through heat, humidity and sweats and your eyeliner will still look awesome. Its waterproof yet, easy to remove using your favourite makeup remover. A bit difficult with wipes 'cause you will have to rub it hard.

Dislike: Nothing! 

Overall: I've been recommending Miss Hana Eyeliners to all of my friends. Its really awesome and such a loyal BFF 'cause it stays on like a charm. The glitter doesn't come off too strong, its just the perfect among of glitter to make your eye makeup pop a bit. I will forever repurchase it. All for of them! ^_^

A cream that's very much similar to Vaseline but less greasy and odorless. Recommended to use it as a night cream as its still a bit greasy and will make your face look super shiny and oily. Very moisturizing, keeps my face hydrated and treats my rashes and redness and prevents it from coming back/becoming a lot worst. Comes off like wax but melts down as you warm it against your fingers. As Kate Hudson would say it,

Likes: Has a lot benefits and could be used absolutely anywhere around your body. Treats a lot of skin problems while keeping it moisturized and hydrated. An all natural cream that is also safe to use for babies and infants. Love it that its multi-purpose. Could act as a first aid cream that you need to bring everywhere you go. Suitable for all skin types even on burnt-skin as its very gentle, safe as its made from pure natural ingredients. 

Dislike: So far I have nothing but love for this product :) 

Overall: When Kate Hudson and other celebrities like Madonna, Emily Blunt, Brooke Shield and more said that its a must have multi-purpose beauty item, you just gotta hop on that train with them because it is in fact a must-have! No wonder its a highly spoken and raved beauty item among beauty lovers. Try it to believe it! It cures my rashes and redness around my face and soothes my sensitive skin while keeping it very much hydrated. Can I just say goodbye dry skin? Goodbye! Totally recommend it and once again, definitely a must-have!

Review: Tokyo Love Soap Pure Girls

Hello loves! ❤ Previously I featured a whitening day cream that can help to brighten your face as well as evening out your skin tone (here). But today, I'm featuring an all in one cleanser/soap that might just catch your attention. No sir, this is not your average bar cleanser/soap that you can get at any local pharmacies or kedai jamu out there. This is not one of the Malaysian made bar cleanser. Ini Japan mari ah. Don't play play. 

I was fortunate enough to be given a chance to try this bar soap for a couple of weeks now thanks to Natta Cosme. The website only sells three kinds of Tokyo Love Soap at the moment; The Original Tokyo Love Soap, Tokyo Love Soap Pure Girls and Tokyo Love Soap Premium. The Tokyo Love Soap (medicated) is on its way here and I was given a tiny sample to try it out hehe blessed!

Results: As mentioned, this is an all in one bar soap so you can use it all over your face, body and also your private part! So what's my take on it?

• The fact that it smells so good! Lol. I love awesome smelling products. It makes me more drawn to it. 
• Pretty hydrating for a bar soap and leave a squeaky clean feeling behind which I love!
• It brightens my skin by one scale up within weeks. 
• If you have uber sensitive and problematic skin, try using it sparingly to avoid any irritation. I do find it to be a bit harsh as a daily bar cleanser as my skin is uber sensitive and for the first few days, it did irritate my skin. 
• Doubled up as makeup remover. In the picture, I had MAC Pro long wear concealer and Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation on and it removed everything except waterproof liner and mascara ofcourse. 
• It doesn't dry out the skin, pretty moisturizing I would say. 
• Comes in a pretty big size so it might last you for months. 
• The only downside would be the price.

Review: Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner

Hello loves! ❤ LOL sorry, I just had to edit because it was really weird holding the box like this with my original background which you will see later in this post and I realize that I picked the wrong shade of lipstick for this look but anyway, hello again! I'm so excited that I got to work with Natta Cosme once again! (Here)'s my first time and (here)'s my second time. One of my favourite online cosmetics shops in Malaysia. 

When we talk about eyeliner, my favourite kind will always be liquid liners. Why? Because I have oily lids and often when I wear pencil liners, gel or any retractable, it will always smudge and transfer down to my lower lashes. But will Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner change my mind and my whole perceptions towards pencil and gel liners? Lets find out!

According to the description on Natta Cosme site, this is a waterproof, oil and concentrated colour based gel liner. 

Its extremely waterproof removable; a long time anti-sweat, anti-tears, oil, and maintain a whole day without smudges. 

They have 4 colours all together but I'm going to review only 2 colours; No. 1 Night Black & No. 3 Choco Brown.

I didn't want to sharp the pencils 'cause I want to show you how much I've been using it hihi. Its very creamy in texture 

if you ask me. I tried to smudge it right after I swatch it, but that's how messy it can get. So if you want to smoke it out or smudge 

it a bit under your lash lines then you better do it fast after you applied it as it sets pretty fast. After that, they only way to 

remove it is with an oil based makeup remover. 

It glides on smoothly and like I said earlier, its creamy yet it sets fast. And its not at all dry like most pencil and gel liners. 
You can easily get away with one smooth application as it glides on smoothly like I said before. I used it all week last week and 
I must say, it lasts all day even under a hot blazing sun and I was sweating, but the liner stayed put. Honestly, 
it blew me away and I was sold immediately.

Likes: It doesn't smudge or budge and lasts well if not all day on my eyes (all; eyelid, tightline, waterline, lash line). The texture is creamy, not at all dry, and glides on smoothly with one application. It sets fast so you can straight away do the rest of your makeup after that. 

Dislikes: I have to sharp it. Its such a cute pencil with cute packaging. I don't want it to habis :-(

Overall: All I can see is, liquid liners, you have found your new match HAHA! I seriously love these gel liners. Seriously though, at first I was so scared to use it for fear that it might melt under my eyes and ruin my makeup as I have very oily lids but it does the exact opposite! Totally recommend it to those with oily lids and those who hates eyeliner smudging and melting down your eyes.
