Another best seller item that I bought is Banila Co Primer in Classic Matte. A lot of people raved about this and I just had to give it a try. It comes in three choices; Hydrating, Classic & Classic Matte. Being an oily girl, I just gotta pick Classic Matte. It doesn't make my makeup "cracked" once applied like some mattifying primer I know. Next purchase, hydrating! hihi. From RM99 to RM55 (44% off)!

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream is the shiz guys! If you haven't tried it, you really should! Me and this BB Cream go way back. Event: #Altheaturns1 Birthday Celebration!

Salam everyone!

Welcome back, Izzah ❤ After being MIA for God knows how long from attending events, I finally went to the event that I cannot miss, Althea Birthday Party! What's Althea you asked? Well, my brother asked the same thing too lol Althea's a platform that delivers fresh Korean beauty products from Korea (of course!) up to your doorsteps in just few days! Yang penting, all authentic and they always give us the best price!

It was held at Ruang, SS18 and the theme was pink! We were greeted with Korean snacks; few kinds of Kimbap (my first time trying it and it was not bad!), Bingsu Station - where we can choose any 4 flavours and top it with our preferred toppings, cool! And also various sweets and birthday cake! 

The thing I love about events the most is that I get to get catch up with my blogger friends as well as meeting new friends and my internet/social media friends for the first time ❤ The decorations of the events were so beautiful that we can actually take pictures with all sorts of background. 

Not to mention, a stunning Althea-themed photobooth by Glitz & Glam Studiobooth! 

They'll take the photos for us and we get to keep the photos, yay! 

The highlight of the event was that we get to meet the CEO in person! Meet, Althea.kr CEO, Mr. Frank Kang. The CEO with an #originalblusher cheeks (HAHA!) and who can sing opera! Daebak! And guess what? We were surprised by the 30-minutes shop time on their website worth RM150! All went panic since we only had 30 minutes to shop. And my Althea box came in yesterday! I managed to buy another Laneige BB Cushion Whitening since my mom just bought me the pore control version on her last trip to Korea and another two of the Selfie Pigments, yay! 

The event ended with a Top 3 Best Dress Award and a surprise (yes, another surprise!) lucky draw from It's My, WondeRuci & Aromatica! All we had to do was grab any balloons behind the main stage and pop it! And I got the one from Aromatica (will review soon!).

Off with those heads:

First of all, the smell is a major turn off. Smells like a minty-cough syrup. But it does not linger, thank God! I have not tried it for a full 14 days yet but I can see some improvements. I only apply it around my T-Zone and my nose cam a bit smooth and blur-out sikit. I have major blackheads right now and Alhamdulillah, it does not appear too much under makeup now. 

Deep Impact:

My very particular when it comes to scrub-like products but I'm glad this one does not harm it as it did not irritate or feel harsh on my skin at all. It is kind of fun scrubbing my face till the beads fully dissolve in. It also brightens my skin sikit and it makes my pores blurry by just a tad. 

Absolute matte:

OMG ITS BLACK! HAHAHAHA. Did not see that one coming tho. But then I remembered that it uses charcoal sheet to tarik all the junks then I am like, 'Riiiiiight" LOL. Loved the minty scent and cooling sensation. It made me feel refreshed. Always loved that on masks. And it worked like magic I must say in terms of shine control. Used it before putting on makeup and my nose stayed dry and only a little bit oily late in the evening. But because I am only oily on the T-Zone and rest of my face is dry, it made my other areas a bit drier. So take note those with dry-combo skin. But overall, not bad!

Review: Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion

Hello loves! ❤ It's time to introduce to you my #1 favourite BB Cushion/foundation as if right now. Revlon Colorstay used to be at the top of the chart but ever since I tried the Laneige BB Cushion, I felt head over heels for it. Although it's not a full coverage base like Revlon Colorstay, the lasting power, lightweight, heat-proof and sweat-proof of the Laneige BB Cushion is what got me on its hook!

Claims to be the world's first innovative technology with the revolutionary cushion mechanism with 800,000 pores. It hydrates your skin, long-lasting and doesn't make your makeup look cakey. It's light to medium coverage but no sweat, there's always a concealer and compact powder for extra coverage. Suitable for oily skin though it gives a semi-matte finish, most of the time, it looks pretty matte to me. 

It's a bit pricey as it costs RM150 but you get a refill in it which is not sold separately so it's pretty reasonable. Plus, I think it's a great investment considering the fantastic job that it's been doing to me. It's my go-to BB Cushion everyday and every where even! Been wearing it during Aidilfitri as well. Even though I have mountains of imperfection, because the quality is so darn good and it doesn't budge and smudge even when I sweat (but it does crack around the nose but that happens to me with most foundation like whaaat. Know any way(s) to prevent that?), I kind of push that aside. And it makes me happy when I'm wearing it :)

Event: Goodal Skincare

Hello loves! ❤ Last month I was invited to the Goodal Official Launch at Neway, One Utama all thanks to one of my favourite online cosmetic website, HiShop Malaysia! Now honestly, have you ever heard of Goodal before? Me neither! But there's nothing I love better than discovering new beauty brands! So Goodal, welcome to my life! hehe. Now, let's all get to know Goodal a little better!

Event started with the official launch ceremony before the slide presentation by Ms Jace Tan, Director of In2face Sdn Bhd, Ms Caryn Loh, General Manager-Trading of Watson's Personal Care Stores and Ms Song Yeon-bi, Make-up Artist and Chief Instructor of Clio Cosmetics from Korea. 

Then on to the presentation of the brand and their whole range of products as well as product demonstration by Ms Song Yeon-bi. She spoke in Korean which was really cute and fascinating to hear in person and little miss cutie beside her translated it for us. 

About Goodal:
A Korean brand that has just arrived in Malaysia about a few months ago. Goodal is a combination of "Good" and "All". It focuses on natural ingredients which are divided into two ranges: Phyto Power or Energy (Energy from wild plants) and Fermented Phyto (Intensive nutrition from natural fermented oils). These two ranges have four lines of products: Phyto line, Plus line, Mask pack line and Cleansing line. 

The Wild Phyto range uses wild plants in it production utilising all natural ingredients without any chemicals and its suitable for daily use on all skin types. Event: CREMORLAB Exclusive Product Launch!

Hello loves! ❤ On the first day of Ramadhan, I was invited to an exclusive Cremorlab event at Muse by Watsons, Sunway Pyramid. I was so excited to attend this event because its one of my favourite Korean brands. I was introduced to Cremorlab by Bag of Love. They included a trial hydration kit and sunblock in one of their monthly subscription bags which I forgot which month. The sunblock was the first product I tried from them. Its so gentle to my skin, doesn't irritate it and doesn't leave a greasy feeling which made me instantly fell in love with the sunblock and went out and buy an actual size of it. Besides the sunblock, you should also try one of their best selling products, Fresh Water Gel. That's the bomb!

Hydration is the main ingredient for youthful and healthy, glowing looking skin. Without hydration, our skin will dry out and age faster resulting in premature aging. Special guest, Dr. Koh Chuan Keng, a consultant dermatologist from Koh Skin Specialist Clinic in Damansara Utama was there with us to share the knowledge of how important skin hydration is and how it could benefit us. To cut to the chase, in order to obtain hydrated skin we need to drink plenty of water, sleep early, healthy lifestyles, moisturize well. 

The brand manager, the one who greeted us, introduced us to Dr. Koh Chuan Keng and attended to us throughout the event, the beautiful, Amanda Gan introduced us (more) to the highly raved Korean brand by Korean beauty bloggers and the very famous Youtube Star, the queen of all beauty gurus, Michelle Phan, - Cremorlab. The main attraction of the event was the new skincare product, T.E.N Cremor Mineral Treatment Essense. 

T.E.N stands for Thermal water therapy, Eco energy and Natural nourishment. Comes from 1,100 meters below sea level from a small town Geumjin, Korea, T.E.N is famous for its richness in minerals. It contains minerals with healing and vitalizing powers that helps deliver the most effective components directly to your skin. 

We were free to ask Dr. Koh anything regarding skin hydration or skin in general, really. Since my skin is really sensitive, acne prone and somewhat dry in certain areas, I asked Dr. Koh which specific skincare product should I use and which part should I concentrate more. Skincare wise, I have to concentrate on the sensitive + acne part first. For hydration, he asked me to drink a lot of water and sleep early everyday. He also suggested to reduce any dairy intake because its been scientifically proven to cause acne because of the cow hormone in the milk. 

Aside from that, we were also getting an express makeover by Muse beauty consultants and a chance to try out Cremorlab products by ourselves. I didn't have a makeover because I already had a full on makeup on my face so I played with the products instead. Besides Mineral Treatment Essense, we were also introduced to another new products called Bubble Mask and Long Lasting Perfect BB (not so new). Tried the Bubble Mask and instantly fell in love as well. To me the packaging has always been the major factor of how I love Cremorlab but their products are amazing too. Not surprised that its one of Korea's leading brands. 

Then its time for Skin Analysis. Mike was so nice and helpful in explaining everything regarding my skin condition as well as suggesting products to both me and +Mieza Everdeen. I was so disgusted with my skin during the Skin Analysis. The texture of my skin's really ugly and not smooth. Hence, the result! My main issues are my 3D complexion, the texture of my skin and inflammation. Mike recommended a few products and suggested me to exfoliate my skin often to diminish the oil seeds on my face. Whenever you're visiting Muse at Watsons, look for Mike! :) 

A thoughtful gesture, special takeouts for the Muslims! They didn't make us feel left out with the food hehe and it was delish! Also, got to bring home the Mineral Treatment Essence and Hydration Mini Kit as shown above of the "product listing" picture. Stay tuned for the Mineral Treatment Essence review by the end of this month!
