Review: Shaaanxo x Colourpop Super Shock Shadows

Hello loves! ❤ Yay, it's June! I've mentioned previously that for the whole month of June, I'll be reviewing all products/things I bought during my trip to Melbourne, Australia. I don't have any sort of theme or order of how I'm going to review them, it depends on my mood HAHA so it's not going to be Eyeshadows je for a few days or lipsticks je ke. Semua berterabur nanti :p But you know, that will build the excitement for all of you hihihi. Starting with Eyeshadows, meet Shaaanxo x Colourpop quad!

Here's a little background story, all of the Colourpop products I got it shipped to my Aunt's house in Bendigo just 'cause I couldn't wait and wanted to play with it during the whole trip so that I could rock it and look pretty in pictures :p

I personally love Shannon (Shaaanxo on Youtube). I love her personally, her honest to God first impressions/reviews
ugh just everything lah including her accent! So obviously her quad was the first one I bought. And tbh, I can't stop using it!

Before I touch on the colours, let's talk about the whole products in general! It's powdery but when you touch it, it feels like a cream or clay-like feel that I don't quite know how to describe but it's really unique! Beside the textures, I really admire the packaging - simple white, round container. Everything about it is so simple yet, so amazing. It doesn't need fancy everything to be amazing 'cause their products are simply great!

Let's take a moment to appreciate the pigmentation of the shadows, bravo!

XO (PEARLIZED)
"It’s a brightened, light golden beige with warm undertones and a sparkling, metallic finish with a soft, lightly creamy consistency"

SELFIE (MATTE)
"It’s a muted, medium orange with warm undertones and a satin sheen"

DELUXE (PEARLIZED)
'A medium-dark brown with warm, copper and bronze shimmer that give it a light pearl finish.
It had excellent color payoff that applied evenly, smoothly, and blended easily"

REBEL (MATTE)
"It’s a muted, medium-dark olive green with warm undertones and a matte finish"

There are many ways to wear this quad, it's completely up to you and your style but I like all browns on the lids and this is how I wear it:

Extremely in love with this quad in particular. They look stunning on me. I also sometimes
place XO on the lids with Deluxe on the crease. But this is what I wear the most lately.

I guess the only thing I don't quite like about it is that it's not travel-friendly. Wish we could
depot it or have a palette to customize it or something but other than that, love!!

Price: $20 @ www.colourpop.com

Best of Beauty 2014!

Happy New Year 2015 loves! ❤

I'll do a different post recapping everything that had happened throughout the year 2014 but now, let's focus on the year end trend,
Best of Beauty 2014! Basically, I made a video featuring all the beauty products that I had loved using throughout 2014.

I didn't feature any lip product because that was the only thing that I cannot choose. Otherwise it will be a very long video
featuring a lot of lipsticks. Plus, I made a video about my lipstick collection so maybe you can watch it here

p/s: Sorry that I said too much "Amazing", "The bomb" and "Bomb Diggity" in the video.
It was spontaneous and I didn't notice anything until I edited it. Oh well. Enjoy :D

Review: MAC x Sharon Osbourne Duchess Eyeshadow Quad (Part 1)

Hello loves!  I'm so excited to get my hands on these two products. I've been wanting and waiting for it since last July or maybe Jun. During the 3rd day of Aidilfitri, I spent my night at One Utama to shop some stuffs (and boy, I went crazy!) and I happened to be near MAC and I just felt like asking about the Kelly and Sharon Osbourne Collection. They said that it will be out in August but lucky me, they had some in stock like a pre sale or something like that so apa lagiii hehehe. Kelly is more on the crazy bright sort of look and Sharon is more on the natural side. And as for me, I love going all natural on the eyes and super bright lips. I wanted to get one from each collection but unfortunately, they were out of the lipstick I wanted from Kelly collection so I went ahead and bought the brow powder instead since I'm all out of that anyway. I'm going to review the eyeshadow quad first :D

Can I just say that the colours are soooo me?! Even the MAC SA recommended me this. And I've been wearing it ever
since I bought it. Super super gorgeous and I can turn it into either a morning or night look because of Embark.

Starting from top left; Sweet Eyes (Veluxe Pearl), Sexy Eyes (Veluxe Pearl), Femme Fatale (Satin) and Embark (Matte).

"Four coordinated Eye Shadows featuring Sharon’s shades of golden brown (femme fatale), dark reddish brown (embark), soft warm
bronze (veluxe pearl) and light golden nude (veluxe pearl). The highly pigmented powder formula applies evenly, blends and
builds beautifully. Limited-edition packaging in Sharon’s trademark red with lavender signature." According to MAC website.

Yup, its really pigmented, have a velvety feel and little goes a long way. And its very easy to blend too just use a very light hand!
There are so many ways to use the quad and this is one of them. Will do more in the future!

Likes: Pigmented, creamy/doesn't feel dry, easy to blend, cute packaging and travel-friendly.

Dislikes: A tad bit expensive.

Overall: For a first timer (owning an eyeshadow quad from MAC), I must say that I'm really digging it. I'm not really good with mixing shadows/colours so its really convenient to have something that is pre-built and of good awesome quality too! Super nice for an everyday wear!

Price: RM132 @ All MAC Stores.

TAG: Four or More!

Hello loves!  Today I wanna do a tag post that I find very interesting and feel like doing it ASAP LOL. It's actually a video tag by Emily (Emilynoel83) from YouTube. She's amazing and stunning ugh love her! So this tag is about showing/sharing your makeup products that you have either four or more of it. You can watch the video which I will link it down below at the bottom to get more info of what this tag is all about hehe.

Essense Long Lasting Eye Pencil in 01 Black Fever
If you follow me on Instagram then you'd know that I've been wanting this since forever but its always out of stock so as
soon as I saw it on the shelf, I quickly grabbed it all like its nobody's business. I don't care. LOL! Love this pencil
but not quite love the formulation. Its harsh and doesn't glide so smoothly.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
I'm not a mascara girl, I'll give you that. I don't go out buying mascaras like its nobody's business lol no. I usually just use one until
its all dried up / used up. But there was a buy 1 free 1 sale going on at SaSa a while back and you know, I just gotta plus I love The Falsies!

Maybelline Color Tattoo
Again, only purchased this because of the buy 1 free 1 sale LOL never buy full price guys! But I'm grateful that I bought these
because its ah-mah-zing! Wish there's more colours here in Malaysia just like in the US but oh well. A must have for makeup junkies!

Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow Square Refill
Minus the pink shade, the rest are my absolute fav copper bronze eyeshadow combo paired with a blue eyeliner
ugh so pretty! I did a review on it which you guys can read it (here).

Elianto Eyeshadow
Back when I was starting out in this makeup field, I only use these. Still though. For a cheap price, Elianto has some
really pretty and pigmented shadows I must say. The pink one was the very first eyeshadow I bought :) hihi.

Inglot Freedom System Round Lipstick Refill
Got these refills during their first ever warehouse sale (here). Unfortunately, I only managed to get five. I want more
but I came to the warehouse on the second day. A lot of lipstick shades orang lain dah kebas.

Maybelline Lip Polish
This is actually something that I'm most proud of. Before this, I'm not at all a fan of any lip gloss but after I tried these, I'm in love.
Plus, the packaging is super cute and eye catching. Sorry the picture is a bit off, but my favourite one is the red one.

Revlon Lip Stain & Matte Balm
Come on, who doesn't love Revlon's colour stick am I right? The best and affordable! You can see how much I love the lip
stain ones till there's no more label already LOL the matte ones are relatively new and I'm going to review it soon! ;)

NYX Xtreme Shine Lip Cream
The colours are absolutely gorgeous but the products are not... So sad that these are
not as good as the SMLC ones. Gonna review it and tell you guys why in details!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
Aaaaaaaaaa so happy that I finally got my hands on Addis Ababa! Was in luck to find it restocked at Sephora Sunway branch.
Managed to grab Milan and Antwerp as well! From left: Addis Ababa, Amsterdam, San Paolo, Antwerp, Milan, Istanbul.

MAC Lipstick
Probably the third thing I'm most proud of in the lip product topic of course. The second one is the SMLCs. Though these lipsticks are
a bit pricey, for the quality that you're getting, I would say its worth it. My most favourite one is the first from left, All Fired Up (Matte).
Love the colour! My first very MAC lipstick is the third from right, Milan Mode (Lustre). From left: All Fired Up (Matte), Lickable
(Cremesheen), Flat Out Fabulous ( Retro Matte), Candy Yum Yum (Matte), Milan Mode (Lustre), Chic (Frost), Meltdown (Frost).

And that concludes my Four or More Tag! What do you guys think? Too much? Hehe.
Now, ready to be tagged?! As usual,
I TAG ALL OF YOU! WHO THINK THEY HAVE FOUR OR MORE MAKEUP PRODUCTS IN THEIR COLLECTION!
Show me your collection bebeh! I would love to see it :)

Review: Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Hello loves! ❤ As promised two months ago (lol, sorry!), here's my full review of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette! I got this palette as a "make up" (not make-up) present from my special someone hehehe thank you! And I was literally beyond ecstatic when I get to hold it in my arms. I had my finals that morning and he was supposed to swing by my college later in the afternoon so can you imagine my feelings when I answered the paper? It was distracting but I did well hihi. I have used this palette ever since I got it and truthfully, I have been neglecting my other palettes just because Naked 3 rocks more than the rest. It even beats the Naked 1 which I did a full review (here).

This palette consists of 12 highly pigmented amaze balls shadows:
Strange: A beautiful matte pale pink highlight colour.
Dust: Very shimmery pale metallic pink with micro-glitter, dap this on the center of your lids for an instant pop!
Burnout: Satin light peachy-pink.
Limit: Matte light dusty rose, my favourite base colour!
Buzz: Shimmery metallic rose with micro-glitter. Beautiful!
Trick: Shimmery metallic pink-copper with micro-glitter. Also beautiful!
Nooner: Matte medium taupe, my favourite crease colour.
Liar: Satin mauve.
Factory: Satin pinky-brown, love using this to deepen up my crease colour
Mugshot: Satin taupe.
Darkside: Satin taupe-mauve.
Blackheart: Matte smokey black with copper glitter.

It comes with a dual ended pretty nice quality brush.

Likes: Everything! Lol, I don't know but I really really love this palette. I even mentioned it in my January faves too (here). The colours are gorgeous and it looks good on me (perasan). The rose gold undertone is not too obvious or overpowering so it can be used everyday to class or to work. It looks good on every skin tone too!

Dislikes: Darkside's a bit chalky.

Overall: I'm just grateful and blessed that I got it in my arms. Although its a bit pricey but I think its worth it, well, in my opinion. Again, the colours are gorgeous and I'm totally in love!!!

Price: RM188 @ All Sephora Stores Nationwide.
They have recently stocked it up so go get one!

Review: Inglot Freedom System Eye Shadow Square Refill

Hello loves! ❤ Remember my Inglot Warehouse Sale Haul (click here)? Well its about time for me to review some of it. To be honest, last week was my first time ever trying and using this square eye shadow refills from Inglot and I'm loving the combination! Well actually, four combinations. Minus the bottom pink, I haven't tried it yet. But the rest, such a perfect combination and the shadows are really great too!

Sorry for the first picture, the colour's a bit off but the swatches are the exact one. And also, the first one is my least favourite one. I haven't found the right eye look to use it with yet. But still all the colours are gorgeous! Look at Pearl 606 and Pearl 609! Isn't it the prettiest? I love the dimension (or maybe illusion?) that sometimes it looks like a one colour, then the other colour and then a combination of both. You get what I'm saying? Like its Copper but then it looks like a Maroon colour then a little bit of both. So pretty!

Likes: Creamy, pigmented and high quality, easily blendable and doesn't cost that much and has a great selection of colours. I mean have you been to Inglot? Its like heaven there!

Dislike: Only that the matte one's a bit chalky.

Overall: Totally worth the money and I highly recommend! Though I bought it during the sale but the actual price is cheaper than some of the single shadows at your local pharmacies. The quality and colour pay off is there and the colours are gorgeous!

Price: RM30 | 2.7g for each refills @ All Inglot stores.
p/s: Inglot is having a 30% off their single shadows @ Sunway Pyramid! Hurry!
