Review: The Face Shop The Therapy First Serum

Salam everyone!

Age is indeed just a number but that doesn't mean we can take our skin lightly. Prevention is always key. And that's why I'm taking a step ahead and preventing it now hehe cause it's never too early! Introducing, The Therapy First Serum from The Face Shop! The latest addiction to The Therapy range alongside The Therapy Moisture Blending Cream.

For your info, The Therapy range is an European blending formula-based skincare. It's formulated with anti-aging effect that uses rich mineral and blue algae that contains high anti-oxidant that helps in restoring our skin's natural radiance!

This serum is the first step to our skincare regime after cleansing. I got to be honest here, my skincare steps were always like this; Cleanser > Toner > Serum and so on. It was a bit hard to get used to but I kind of prefer the new way better. The First Serum contains Thalassotherapy essential water that gives so much benefits to our skin. Such as anti-aging effect and extra protection to our skin from hot weather and air-pollutions. And did you know that it contain 100x more mineral than Evian mineral water? Crazy amazing!

Not only does the First Serum helps in keeping us young and radiant with it's blending formula with Crystal particles and essential oils, it also helps in boosting hydrating to our skin as well as better absorption of other products after. That's why it's best to use it first right after cleansing. It also acts as an exfoliant when use together with The Therapy Green Tea cotton pad. Cool huh?

How to use it? Pump out 1 or 2 times and apply to our skin by following our skin texture outward. There are so many ways of using this serum. You can use it as face mist (my fave! perfect for that extra hydration boost under a hot blazing sun!), massage gel and even face pack! I feel relaxed when using it as my skin really enjoys the water goodness.

I apply the The Therapy Moisture Blending Cream right after and it makes my skin even more glowing and hydrated. This moisturizer is a double layer formula mixed with essential oils (Sandalwood, Avocado & Palmarosa) and rich moisture cream. It also uses the Thalassotherapy essential water.

Overall, I really enjoy adding these two to my skincare regime. They have so many benefits and they keep my skin fresh and hydrated. They also help a lot in improving my skin texture and smoothness of my makeup. They make my foundation easier to blend hehe the perfect prep! Recommends for normal to dry skin. If you have oily skin or acne prone like me, it's best if we cure our acne first as the First Serum is nourishing enough to cause more breakouts. But it varies from person to person hehe as for me, it works fine :D

Come and give it a try. You'll love it!

Review: Nour Ain Beauty Care UV Foundation

Salam everyone!
Previously, I've blogged about the Nour Ain Beauty Care Skincare (Read it here(except for the their Multi V cream) and their UV Foundation is worth reviewing considering how in love I am with it and how good it is, really. Sadly, I don't remember using their UV Foundation when I first tried the brand, 2 years ago. So rugi past Izzah! It's really good. Perfect for everyday or when you're feeling lazy or just want to look glam without looking cakey or having that thick-mask-feeling.

It's 10gm worth of product. You can buy separately for RM30 or try their trial skincare set for RM54. It comes in one shade, pink - which gives a brightening effect to your skin + a subtle glow. It's made of natural ingredients with whitening formulations and acts as a sunblock too. It claims to make the skin supple, glowy, smooth and fair naturally. It's safe to use for all skin types and non-drying at all. I wouldn't say that it's moisturizing but it certainly non-drying HAHA.

Ingredients: Ethylnexyl Methoxycinnamate, Propylene Glycol, Peg Stearate, Clclomethicone, Titanium Dioxide, Laurert7, Methyldibrono Glutaronitrile.

It smells divine and lightweight and easy to blend. It gives a sheer to light coverage and certainly not build-able. I see it more as a tinted moisturizer than a foundation. It lightens up the scars and almost covers them up fully. It does feel sticky/tacky. You can use it as a primer if you wish to use a foundation after. I normally just conceal any areas that needed a bit extra coverage. You can see how good of a coverage it gives me. I even use this for a night out makeup and I look flawless! Well not to puji diri lah kan aherher.

It serious lasts long and believe it or not, it's sweat-proof! I once washed my car in the middle of the Afternoon and I was sweaty af like my whole face was crying. Once done, I chilled for a few minutes and pat dry my face with a tissue and my foundation seriously looked untouched. If ada pun, tak noticeable pun. Just touch up powder sikit, and I look fresh balik. And that's why I love it so much. Perfect for me. And because of this, my makeup routine jadi 15 minutes je every morning instead of 45 minutes-1.5 hours. The only thing I dislike is that it makes my nose oily sangat. But the glowy part, I loike.

Nour Ain, use it to be believe it! (Ceh, cam kena sponsor pula hahahahaha)

Review: Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream

Hello loves! ❤ Did you know that there is this one magic cream that has been constantly raved by a lot of beauty bloggers, youtubers and even your favourite hollywood stars? A cream that has only one shape, one design, a few sizes, same smell but has a lot of benefits and made out of six 100% natural ingredients? If you don't believe the mouth of a beauty blogger or a youtuber, believe it when your favourite hollywood starts swore by it and said that its a must-have product for everyone! Excited to know about this magic cream? Have you guys guessed the name of this magic cream yet? Yup, its the one and only Egyptian Magic Cream

"The people's choice."
That is what Lord-Pharaoh ImHotep-AmonRa, CEO, founder and manufacturer of the Egyptian Magic Cream calls it. An all natural skin cream made from six of nature's most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients that has been in the market since 1991 are legendary among not only celebrities, beauty bloggers, youtubers but also, the fashion industry, doctors and even hospitals! Egyptian Magic Cream has grown exclusively through word-of-mouth to be one of the most popular and widely endorsed skin creams in the world.

Guess I must have loved them so much that the labels got all scratched up! LOL. Been bringing it back and forth from home to college hehe. Anyway, Egyptian Magic Cream is a one jar product that contains a face cream, an eye gel, a hair masque, burn and wound relief, a baby cream, a shaving balm and anything else you can think of and wish to use it on. Its completely safe. Even safe to use on babies and infants! Can be used as a hair mask for your hair and scalp, as a highlighter by dabbing just a tiny amount on your cheekbones or under your eyes to help with the dark circles and dehydrated tissue. But because its a solidified and oil-based product, you need to soften it first by warming it up with your fingers before applying it.

As mentioned before, its made from six natural and pure ingredients which are olive oil, bees wax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and bee propolis. A unique process that combines six simple ingredients to create a moisturizing balm unlike any other. There are no additives, preservatives, fragrances, chemicals and parabens. It said that it works great in treating eczema, psoriasis and other skin ailments. Same said that its also great in treating acne and healing scars. Didn't really see it treating my acne but I did notice that it heals my scars little by little.

A cream that's very much similar to Vaseline but less greasy and odorless. Recommended to use it as a night cream as its still a bit greasy and will make your face look super shiny and oily. Very moisturizing, keeps my face hydrated and treats my rashes and redness and prevents it from coming back/becoming a lot worst. Comes off like wax but melts down as you warm it against your fingers. As Kate Hudson would say it,
a must-have product!

Likes: Has a lot benefits and could be used absolutely anywhere around your body. Treats a lot of skin problems while keeping it moisturized and hydrated. An all natural cream that is also safe to use for babies and infants. Love it that its multi-purpose. Could act as a first aid cream that you need to bring everywhere you go. Suitable for all skin types even on burnt-skin as its very gentle, safe as its made from pure natural ingredients.

Dislike: So far I have nothing but love for this product :)

Overall: When Kate Hudson and other celebrities like Madonna, Emily Blunt, Brooke Shield and more said that its a must have multi-purpose beauty item, you just gotta hop on that train with them because it is in fact a must-have! No wonder its a highly spoken and raved beauty item among beauty lovers. Try it to believe it! It cures my rashes and redness around my face and soothes my sensitive skin while keeping it very much hydrated. Can I just say goodbye dry skin? Goodbye! Totally recommend it and once again, definitely a must-have!

And can I just say thank you so much to Natta Cosme for giving me this wonderful opportunity to try this product out as a part of their beauty ambassador program. I have been longing to try this cream for the longest time but never got around to buy it and finally, I got to experience the amazing goodness of this indeed, magic cream. And guess who has made its way to my permanent night time skincare regime? The Egyption Magic Cream of course! Definitely going to repurchase it till the end of time

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + Review!

Hello loves! ❤ I'm back with another review! Actually I just entered a new semester and there's no internet connection at le second home so its a bit hard to update my blog. But now I'm back at le first home and ready to blog :D I'm such a huge fan of Clinique. As you know, Clinique saved my life once. But then it didn't but then it did again lol I kinda have a love-hate relationship with this brand. But of course, mostly love ❤ hihi. This is my favourite  moisturizer from the high end category. Its the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +. I have used the old formula for years now and I must say that the new formula is definitely better! I tend to use this whenever I need something strong or when my skin is a little bit too dry and/or flaky and when I'm wearing heavy makeup.

Likes:
There's not much of a difference but I really like the thickness of the new formula. It makes such an awesome base for my makeup. My makeup goes on a lot smoother and flawless-er(?) with this moisturizer. It does stays on a lot longer than the old DDML and its super hydrating! And like I said earlier, I will use this whenever I need something strong for my skin because of the thick formula. The DDML+ doesn't make my face oily, greasy or sticky at all. The DDML does though. Its kind of weird actually because a lot of people said otherwise but honestly, the new formula is great!

Dislikes:
The same thing that I don't like with the old DDML; absorption! The absorption is so freaking slow! "Quick penetration" lah konon. Hm, price? A little bit pricey and small. The old DDML is/was bigger.

Overall, I'm really happy and pleased with the DDML+. Totally in love with the new formula!

So what do you guys think?
