Hello loves! ❤ Last Monday I got invited to the launching of the new Maybelline New York White Superfresh Long Lasting UV Cake Powder SPF34 PA+++ at a place called Porcelene Jazz, Empire Damansara. Never been to Empire Damansara before just Empire Subang since its so near to my house lol. The place is a bit dead since there are not so many shops open. Its a chillex kind of place, where people come to eat and chill. So different from the Subang one but the place is pretty. Love the relaxing atmosphere that they got going on but still, kind of empty though.
These are the main attraction. The all new Maybelline White Superfresh which comes in four shades. It gives you up to 12 hours of freshness and UV protection. You know how us girls love to touch up our face 3-5 times a day fearing that our face will look oily and shiny if we don't. For me, I usually touch up more than that 'cause my face is rather oily around my T-zone. So Maybelline came up with a brand new innovation that stops you from touching up so many times! But I will get to that in a bit.
It started with a presentation of the White Superfresh and a light refreshments. The new innovative system goes beyond sebum absorption which helps to speed up sweat drying and evaporation so the skin can remain clean. The Mineral Perlite in the powder contains 5x the absorbing power of Talc which makes it more effective towards sweat and sebum. This faster drying action results in a clean touch and fresh makeup all day. You no longer need touch-ups! Refer to the pictures below:
The first picture was with a couple drops of water and the second one with a couple drops of oil. You can see i both of the pictures that the White Superfresh absorbed water and oil faster than the other brand. You can still see that the water's still in the surface in the second picture of the other brand. Definitely the winner's the White Superfresh! The powder provides up to 12 hours of long lasting freshness as well as matte complexion and 12 hours of UV protection. It does not only make you feel fresh and matte all day but it also whitens and evens out your complexion with its lightweight and non-pores-clogging formula!
Then, there were a demonstration on how to wear the products with different looks. They also featured their newly launched products, The Colossal Kajal Pen which is perfect for Hari Raya and its waterproof too! Hypercosmos Trio Eyeshadow. You should definitely check it out! And Pink Alert Lipsticks which are my favourite out of the three! Can't wait to collect all! Before the event ended, we were given a chance to play around with all the products and I personally love them all especially the lipsticks! hehe.
