Hello loves! ❤ Early this year I've made a life changing decision to fulfill something that I've been wanting to do for a very long time, vlogging. I have a love for makeup and skincare and I love trying and discovering new things as I go along. I also love watching tutorials on YouTube and bit by bit that influenced me to make one my own. People noticed me through my SimplySiti Skincare routine (here) and Cathy Doll Magic Cream (here) video. I got tons of views and that was when people started to subscribe to my channel :')

My blogging life started when I joined the BCL Malaysia Workshop (here) and met Colney (her blog). She invited me to the Benefit Cosmetics Birthday Party (here) and that was the start of everything and when I decided to really get involve in all these events stuff. I signed up for The Butterfly Project Blogging School 101 and to be honest, joining that was the best thing ever! Probably the highlight of the year. It changed my life! I met a lot of inspiring and lively bloggers, went to a lot of cool events and went home with a lot of goodies, got to test out some really cool items and also, got to improve my blogging style and attract more people to read it. And lets not forget about Hishop Malaysia! They've been giving me a lot of reviewing opportunities and also have helped me to improve my blogging life too! 

Blogging is now a part of my life. Honestly, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't get where I am today. My blog would be nothing without their help. They've made me became more obsessed and more committed towards blogging and vlogging. Though right now I'm more into blogging but I got plans for vlogging for 2014. I'm truly grateful for the opportunities that were given to me throughout 2013 and hopefully I will get more opportunities next year as well. I would also like to thank my special someone, my friends and my family for being so supportive for this new passion of mine and for encouraging me to do more. If there was a way to really show you guys how grateful I am for everything that had happened since I joined The Butterfly Project and HiShop community then believe me, I would do anything to show/prove it to you guys. For now I can only say from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for the opportunities and for the amazing experience! May Allah repay your kindness ❤

Cancer awareness campaign by AXA AFFIN

Hello loves! ❤ Did you know that cancers are one of the most leading causes of death in this world? There are many types of cancers in this world. Lung cancers (along with trachea and bronchus cancers) caused 1.5 million (2.7%) deaths in 2011, up from 1.2 million (2.2%) deaths in 2000 followed by second most popular cancer known to us today, Breast cancer. Scientists have long cautioned that a family history of cancer increases your personal risk of cancer. You should always know the background or history of your family so that you can be alert about it. But even so, you still can get cancers even if there is no history of cancer in your family. 

Cancers took a lot of lives over the year. Many people are not aware that cancers can also attack young children. Age is not a factor for this vicious killer! A 14 year old Talia Joy for example. She was a YouTube beauty guru with high spirit to inspire people through her love towards beauty and makeup despite her obvious disease. She had many plans for the future but unfortunately, she died in the middle of this year before she could fulfill any of it. Because of what? Because of this evil disease called cancer! 

AXA Affin Life Insurance Berhad has launched the AXA 110 Cancer Care Project in collaboration with the National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM).The project is aimed at supporting and caring for critically ill patients, especially patients diagnosed with cancer. In conjunction with the launch, AXA Affin Life will be offering two new protection plans: AXA 110 Cancer Care and AXA 110 Critical Illness (CI) Care, respectively. It has also launched a portal, www.110cancercare.com, for the public to sign up for a cancer plan. AXA Affin Life Insurance Berhad CEO Loke Kah Meng said statistics showed that cancer was a major health problem in Malaysia.“It is estimated that one in four Malaysians will develop cancer by the age of 75,” he said. According to a report published by the National Cancer Registry of Malaysia (NCR) in 2008, 21,773 Malaysians are diagnosed with cancer yearly from 2003 to 2005.

He said there was a need for Malaysians to understand that delayed care was a prime cause for cancer-related deaths and the high costs of treating cancer was better managed with early care. “It is imperative to get early cancer protection to benefit from early cancer detection,” he said. With AXA 110 Cancer Care plan, policy holders will have additional funds to seek early treatment for a better chance of recovery when cancer strikes. The pay-out can be claimed upon diagnosis in the early stages of cancer. In addition, the plan provides 10 years of premium for 20 years of coverage. Meanwhile, the 110 CI Care plan provides comprehensive coverage for up to 110 critical illnesses as well as early and double benefit pay-out for cancer-related illnesses.

It works wonders! Visible results in just a couple of hours. Moisturizing and the texture is not too tight but creamy. Amazing at reducing my fine lines the very next day! ❤ 

Couldn't find anything to dislike about this product so overall am really loving it and will continue using it and perhaps buy one for myself or for my mom in the near future! My beauty resolutions for 2014 ❤

Hello loves! ❤ Can you believe that 2013 is coming to an end? How time flies! Now that 2014 is starting, it is time for us to make our New Year Resolutions! It is like a tradition right? Like every year we got to have one. Want to know what's my beauty resolutions are for 2014?

1. Drink a lot of H20

I'm very lazy when it comes to drinking a lot of water because I'm not a fan of the idea of always going to the bathroom and pee lol and I have really tiny bladder so it makes it worse. Drinking at least 2 liters a day is important for your health and beauty so I gotta do it!

2. Put on eye cream 

I always forget to put on eye cream every night and every morning I will wake up with an ugly dark circles and fine lines under my eyes. Our eyes are the most delicate part of our body so we must take a really good care of it. 

3. Moisturize my whole body 

I'm not getting any younger unfortunately and if I don't moisturize my whole body, it will age faster and I will have wrinkles every where :(

4. Use suitable skincare products

This is my biggest concern ever. I always feel insecure about my appearance and my acne and scars just won't go away so maybe its time to change to a different skincare product! Organic maybe? YADAH COME TO ME!!

5. Sleep early! 

Getting an enough beauty sleep is something that I can't have lol it's hard for me to sleep early every night. My sleeping time is between 1-3am and thats bad for my health and skin. Need to change it ASAP!

The website is super easy to use. Not complicated at all. I don't have any problem at all throughout the process EXCEPT! for their delivery. For Klang Valley area, the Mr. Lens team will post it on their own (own dispatch) to us. For other places, they will use Pos Laju. The delivery email was quick. I placed my order on midnight and around 9-10am the next day they changed my order status to "dispatched (own dispatch)". But then I waited from Wednesday till Thursday the next week. But I didn't receive it that Thursday, they just gave me a call which was so nice of their customer service. Most website will just leave me hanging. But then I received an email saying that my order's been dispatched to the Pos Laju. I was like "What?" But whatever, I finally received my order on Tuesday on the next week after I received the call. My order was in one piece and it is so comfortable to wear and that's all that matters! But please, improve your delivery next time Mr. Lens. Don't keep people waiting thaaat long :)

Hawaiian Luau Party with Kinohimitsu!

Hello loves! ❤ Last month I attended a super cool event hosted by The Butterfly Project and it was their last biggest event for 2013! Remember the 'Please pick me' Hawaiian Luau Party with Kinohimitsu (click here) entry I posted earlier last month? Well I was selected to party Hawaiian style with the other 49 fabulous and friendly beauty bloggers! It was totally a night to remember and I was beyond happy (just like the picture above) that I was invited to the party! I have never been to these kind of party before so thank you Mamasan and her fabulous team! ❤

The event took place at Villa Manja Spa located at Jalan Damai, Kuala Lumpur. The place blew me off my feet because it's a bungalow spa so the place's huge and not to mention, beautifully decorated! I mean seriously weh, lawa gilas. So every person who came will be given a Hawaiian signature welcoming flower (idk the actual name) and a chance to try a complimentary shoulder massage before the event started. Look at all the bloggers chilling and massaging, including our Mamasan! Haha. There's also a 123cheese photobooth sponsored by them and we can take as many photos as we wanted up until 10pm.  Awesome!

There were also a lot of Kinohimitsu products all over the area and believe me, I feel like stealing one of 'em that day :p 

 Mamasan and Kak Illy first time jadi MC and they were great! Hehe and that is Mr Danny Tham.

The first activity of the night was a "fill the container with water using a sponge" game and my team didn't win, too bad. We weren't fast enough haha. The first station was where we redeem our gift bags containing Kinohimitsu products in it (awesome!). The second station let us tasted the newly launched J'pan Bio-Booster. It's delicious guys you got to taste it! The third station was a spin and win station but only the first three Hawaiian bloggers that got the jackpot will win the jackpot. The rest will win something else. I got two J'pan Collagen Diamond drinks, weee! The last station also gave us a drink, a boosting drink for the night hihi.  

What a Luau Party without a sexy luau dance am I right? hehe. After eating it's time to shake our sexy grass booty! First, there was a professional dancer shaking their booties away with some hip action. It was cool. Like a belly dancer you know so lembut. After that, it's time for the bloggers, including our Mamasan to drop it like it's hot YUP DROP IT LIKE ITS HOT WOOT!

The last activity of the Hawaiian night was announcing the winners for Best Dress and also for Best Instagram Picture. Congrats ladies! I didn't manage to capture photos of the Best Instagram Picture winner because I was too busy taking photos at the photo booth haha! I wanted a picture of myself alone and it's almost 10 so I run quickly to the photo booth and vain! hehe

I had the best time that night and I would like to thank The Butterfly Project and Kinohimitsu for this awesome powsome party and opportunity to get to know Kinohimitsu better and also to mingle with the rest of the community. I made a few friends that night and it was awesome because I'm a loner... LOL! And I also want to thank 123cheese for the photos above. What a great souvenir to remember the party!
